וַיֹּ֥אמְרוּ they va-YOH-meh-roo ל֖וֹ said loh שְׁאַל unto sheh-AL נָ֣א him, na בֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים Ask vay-loh-HEEM וְנֵ֣דְעָ֔ה counsel, veh-NAY-deh-AH הֲתַצְלִ֣חַ we huh-tahts-LEE-ak דַּרְכֵּ֔נוּ pray dahr-KAY-noo אֲשֶׁ֥ר thee, uh-SHER אֲנַ֖חְנוּ of uh-NAHK-noo הֹֽלְכִ֥ים God, hoh-leh-HEEM עָלֶֽיהָ׃ that ah-LAY-ha -

וַיֹּֽאמְר֗וּ they va-yoh-meh-ROO ק֚וּמָה said, KOO-ma וְנַֽעֲלֶ֣ה Arise, veh-na-uh-LEH עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם that uh-lay-HEM כִּ֤י we kee רָאִ֙ינוּ֙ may ra-EE-NOO אֶת go et הָאָ֔רֶץ up ha-AH-rets וְהִנֵּ֥ה against veh-hee-NAY טוֹבָ֖ה them: toh-VA מְאֹ֑ד for meh-ODE וְאַתֶּ֣ם we veh-ah-TEM מַחְשִׁ֔ים have mahk-SHEEM אַל seen al תֵּעָ֣צְל֔וּ tay-AH-tseh-LOO לָלֶ֥כֶת the la-LEH-het לָבֹ֖א land, la-VOH לָרֶ֥שֶׁת and, la-REH-shet אֶת behold, et הָאָֽרֶץ׃ it ha-AH-rets -

וַיֹּאמְרוּ֩ they va-yoh-meh-ROO ל֨וֹ said loh הַֽחֲרֵ֜שׁ unto ha-huh-RAYSH שִֽׂים him, seem יָדְךָ֤ Hold yode-HA עַל thy al פִּ֙יךָ֙ peace, PEE-HA וְלֵ֣ךְ lay veh-LAKE עִמָּ֔נוּ thine ee-MA-noo וֶֽהְיֵה hand VEH-heh-yay לָ֖נוּ upon LA-noo לְאָ֣ב thy leh-AV וּלְכֹהֵ֑ן mouth, oo-leh-hoh-HANE הֲט֣וֹב׀ and huh-TOVE הֱיֽוֹתְךָ֣ go hay-yoh-teh-HA כֹהֵ֗ן with hoh-HANE לְבֵית֙ us, leh-VATE אִ֣ישׁ and eesh אֶחָ֔ד be eh-HAHD א֚וֹ to oh הֱיֽוֹתְךָ֣ us hay-yoh-teh-HA כֹהֵ֔ן a hoh-HANE לְשֵׁ֥בֶט father leh-SHAY-vet וּלְמִשְׁפָּחָ֖ה and oo-leh-meesh-pa-HA בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ a beh-yees-ra-ALE -
וַיִּיטַב֙ the va-yee-TAHV לֵ֣ב priest's lave הַכֹּהֵ֔ן heart ha-koh-HANE וַיִּקַּח֙ was va-yee-KAHK אֶת glad, et הָ֣אֵפ֔וֹד and HA-ay-FODE וְאֶת he veh-ET הַתְּרָפִ֖ים took ha-teh-ra-FEEM וְאֶת veh-ET הַפָּ֑סֶל the ha-PA-sel וַיָּבֹ֖א ephod, va-ya-VOH בְּקֶ֥רֶב and beh-KEH-rev הָעָֽם׃ the ha-AM -
וַיִּפְנ֖וּ they va-yeef-NOO וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ turned va-yay-LAY-hoo וַיָּשִׂ֨ימוּ and va-ya-SEE-moo אֶת departed, et הַטַּ֧ף and ha-TAHF וְאֶת put veh-ET הַמִּקְנֶ֛ה ha-meek-NEH וְאֶת the veh-ET הַכְּבוּדָּ֖ה little ha-keh-voo-DA לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ ones leef-nay-HEM -

וַֽיִּקְרְאוּ֙ they va-yeek-reh-OO אֶל cried el בְּנֵי unto beh-NAY דָ֔ן the dahn וַיַּסֵּ֖בּוּ children va-ya-SAY-boo פְּנֵיהֶ֑ם of peh-nay-HEM וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ Dan. va-yoh-meh-ROO לְמִיכָ֔ה And leh-mee-HA מַה they ma לְּךָ֖ turned leh-HA כִּ֥י their kee נִזְעָֽקְתָּ׃ faces, neez-AH-keh-ta -
וַיֹּ֡אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֶת said, et אֱלֹהַי֩ Ye ay-loh-HA אֲשֶׁר have uh-SHER עָשִׂ֨יתִי taken ah-SEE-tee לְקַחְתֶּ֧ם away leh-kahk-TEM וְֽאֶת VEH-et הַכֹּהֵ֛ן my ha-koh-HANE וַתֵּֽלְכ֖וּ gods va-tay-leh-HOO וּמַה which oo-MA לִּ֣י I lee ע֑וֹד made, ode וּמַה and oo-MA זֶּ֛ה the zeh תֹּֽאמְר֥וּ priest, toh-meh-ROO אֵלַ֖י and ay-LAI מַה ye ma לָּֽךְ׃ are lahk -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֤וּ the va-yoh-meh-ROO אֵלָיו֙ children ay-lav בְּנֵי of beh-NAY דָ֔ן Dan dahn אַל said al תַּשְׁמַ֥ע unto tahsh-MA קֽוֹלְךָ֖ him, koh-leh-HA עִמָּ֑נוּ Let ee-MA-noo פֶּֽן not pen יִפְגְּע֣וּ thy yeef-ɡeh-OO בָכֶ֗ם voice va-HEM אֲנָשִׁים֙ be uh-na-SHEEM מָ֣רֵי heard MA-ray נֶ֔פֶשׁ among NEH-fesh וְאָֽסַפְתָּ֥ה us, veh-ah-sahf-TA נַפְשְׁךָ֖ lest nahf-sheh-HA וְנֶ֥פֶשׁ angry veh-NEH-fesh בֵּיתֶֽךָ׃ bay-TEH-ha -
וַיֵּֽלְכ֥וּ the va-yay-leh-HOO בְנֵי children veh-NAY דָ֖ן of dahn לְדַרְכָּ֑ם Dan leh-dahr-KAHM וַיַּ֣רְא went va-YAHR מִיכָ֗ה their mee-HA כִּֽי way: kee חֲזָקִ֥ים and huh-za-KEEM הֵ֙מָּה֙ when HAY-MA מִמֶּ֔נּוּ Micah mee-MEH-noo וַיִּ֖פֶן saw va-YEE-fen וַיָּ֥שָׁב that va-YA-shove אֶל they el בֵּיתֽוֹ׃ were bay-TOH -
וְהֵ֨מָּה they veh-HAY-ma לָֽקְח֜וּ took la-keh-HOO אֵ֧ת ate אֲשֶׁר the uh-SHER עָשָׂ֣ה things ah-SA מִיכָ֗ה which mee-HA וְֽאֶת Micah VEH-et הַכֹּהֵן֮ had ha-koh-HANE אֲשֶׁ֣ר made, uh-SHER הָֽיָה and HA-ya לוֹ֒ the loh וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ priest va-ya-VOH-oo עַל which al לַ֗יִשׁ he LA-yeesh עַל had, al עַם֙ and am שֹׁקֵ֣ט came shoh-KATE וּבֹטֵ֔חַ unto oo-voh-TAY-ak וַיַּכּ֥וּ Laish, va-YA-koo אוֹתָ֖ם unto oh-TAHM לְפִי a leh-FEE חָ֑רֶב people HA-rev וְאֶת that veh-ET הָעִ֖יר were ha-EER שָֽׂרְפ֥וּ at sa-reh-FOO בָאֵֽשׁ׃ quiet va-AYSH -

וַיִּקְרְא֤וּ they va-yeek-reh-OO שֵׁם called shame הָעִיר֙ the ha-EER דָּ֔ן name dahn בְּשֵׁם֙ of beh-SHAME דָּ֣ן the dahn אֲבִיהֶ֔ם city uh-vee-HEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר Dan, uh-SHER יוּלַּ֖ד after yoo-LAHD לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the leh-yees-ra-ALE וְאוּלָ֛ם name veh-oo-LAHM לַ֥יִשׁ of LA-yeesh שֵׁם Dan shame הָעִ֖יר their ha-EER לָרִֽאשֹׁנָֽה׃ father, la-REE-shoh-NA -
וַיָּקִ֧ימוּ the va-ya-KEE-moo לָהֶ֛ם children la-HEM בְּנֵי of beh-NAY דָ֖ן Dan dahn אֶת set et הַפָּ֑סֶל up ha-PA-sel וִ֠יהֽוֹנָתָן VEE-hoh-na-tone בֶּן the ben גֵּֽרְשֹׁ֨ם graven ɡay-reh-SHOME בֶּן image: ben מְנַשֶּׁ֜ה and meh-na-SHEH ה֣וּא Jonathan, hoo וּבָנָ֗יו the oo-va-NAV הָי֤וּ son ha-YOO כֹֽהֲנִים֙ of hoh-huh-NEEM לְשֵׁ֣בֶט Gershom, leh-SHAY-vet הַדָּנִ֔י the ha-da-NEE עַד son ad י֖וֹם of yome גְּל֥וֹת Manasseh, ɡeh-LOTE הָאָֽרֶץ׃ he ha-AH-rets -
