ଦାଉଦ ପୁଣି କହିଲେ, ସରୁଯାର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋୟାବ ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଯାହା କରିଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭଲଭାବରେ ଜାଣ। ସେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଦୁଇ ସନୋପତିଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଛି, ନରର ପୁତ୍ର ଅବନର ଓ ଯେଥରର ପୁତ୍ର ଅମାସାଙ୍କୁ ଶାନ୍ତି ସମୟରେ ଇର୍ଷାନ୍ବିତ ହାଇେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲା। ସହେି ରକ୍ତ ରେ ତା'ର କଟିବନ୍ଧନୀ ଓ ପାଦୁକାକୁ ସିକ୍ତ କଲା। ମାରେ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋର ଉଚିତ୍ ଥିଲା।
