וַתֵּצֵ֤א Dinah va-tay-TSAY דִינָה֙ the dee-NA בַּת daughter baht לֵאָ֔ה of lay-AH אֲשֶׁ֥ר Leah, uh-SHER יָֽלְדָ֖ה which ya-leh-DA לְיַֽעֲקֹ֑ב she leh-ya-uh-KOVE לִרְא֖וֹת bare leer-OTE בִּבְנ֥וֹת unto beev-NOTE הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Jacob, ha-AH-rets -
וַיַּ֨רְא when va-YAHR אֹתָ֜הּ Shechem oh-TA שְׁכֶ֧ם the sheh-HEM בֶּן son ben חֲמ֛וֹר of huh-MORE הַֽחִוִּ֖י Hamor ha-hee-WEE נְשִׂ֣יא the neh-SEE הָאָ֑רֶץ Hivite, ha-AH-rets וַיִּקַּ֥ח prince va-yee-KAHK אֹתָ֛הּ of oh-TA וַיִּשְׁכַּ֥ב the va-yeesh-KAHV אֹתָ֖הּ country, oh-TA וַיְעַנֶּֽהָ׃ saw vai-ah-NEH-ha -
וַתִּדְבַּ֣ק his va-teed-BAHK נַפְשׁ֔וֹ soul nahf-SHOH בְּדִינָ֖ה clave beh-dee-NA בַּֽת unto baht יַעֲקֹ֑ב Dinah ya-uh-KOVE וַיֶּֽאֱהַב֙ the va-yeh-ay-HAHV אֶת daughter et הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔ of ha-na-uh-RA וַיְדַבֵּ֖ר Jacob, vai-da-BARE עַל and al לֵ֥ב he lave הַֽנַּעֲרָֽ׃ loved HA-na-uh-RA -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Shechem va-YOH-mer שְׁכֶ֔ם spake sheh-HEM אֶל unto el חֲמ֥וֹר his huh-MORE אָבִ֖יו father ah-VEEOO לֵאמֹ֑ר Hamor, lay-MORE קַֽח saying, kahk לִ֛י Get lee אֶת me et הַיַּלְדָּ֥ה ha-yahl-DA הַזֹּ֖את this ha-ZOTE לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ damsel leh-ee-SHA -
וְיַֽעֲקֹ֣ב Jacob veh-ya-uh-KOVE שָׁמַ֗ע heard sha-MA כִּ֤י that kee טִמֵּא֙ he tee-MAY אֶת had et דִּינָ֣ה defiled dee-NA בִתּ֔וֹ VEE-toh וּבָנָ֛יו Dinah oo-va-NAV הָי֥וּ his ha-YOO אֶת daughter: et מִקְנֵ֖הוּ now meek-NAY-hoo בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה his ba-sa-DEH וְהֶֽחֱרִ֥שׁ sons veh-heh-hay-REESH יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב were ya-uh-KOVE עַד with ad בֹּאָֽם׃ his boh-AM -
וַיֵּצֵ֛א Hamor va-yay-TSAY חֲמ֥וֹר the huh-MORE אֲבִֽי father uh-VEE שְׁכֶ֖ם of sheh-HEM אֶֽל Shechem el יַעֲקֹ֑ב went ya-uh-KOVE לְדַבֵּ֖ר out leh-da-BARE אִתּֽוֹ׃ unto ee-toh -
וּבְנֵ֨י the oo-veh-NAY יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב sons ya-uh-KOVE בָּ֤אוּ of BA-oo מִן Jacob meen הַשָּׂדֶה֙ came ha-sa-DEH כְּשָׁמְעָ֔ם out keh-shome-AM וַיִּֽתְעַצְּבוּ֙ of va-yee-teh-ah-tseh-VOO הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים the ha-uh-na-SHEEM וַיִּ֥חַר field va-YEE-hahr לָהֶ֖ם when la-HEM מְאֹ֑ד they meh-ODE כִּֽי heard kee נְבָלָ֞ה it: neh-va-LA עָשָׂ֣ה and ah-SA בְיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל the veh-yees-ra-ALE לִשְׁכַּב֙ men leesh-KAHV אֶת were et בַּֽת grieved, baht יַעֲקֹ֔ב and ya-uh-KOVE וְכֵ֖ן they veh-HANE לֹ֥א were loh יֵֽעָשֶֽׂה׃ very YAY-ah-SEH -
וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר Hamor vai-da-BARE חֲמ֖וֹר communed huh-MORE אִתָּ֣ם with ee-TAHM לֵאמֹ֑ר them, lay-MORE שְׁכֶ֣ם saying, sheh-HEM בְּנִ֗י The beh-NEE חָֽשְׁקָ֤ה soul ha-sheh-KA נַפְשׁוֹ֙ of nahf-SHOH בְּבִתְּכֶ֔ם my beh-vee-teh-HEM תְּנ֨וּ son teh-NOO נָ֥א Shechem na אֹתָ֛הּ longeth oh-TA ל֖וֹ for loh לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ your leh-ee-SHA -
וְהִֽתְחַתְּנ֖וּ make veh-hee-teh-ha-teh-NOO אֹתָ֑נוּ ye oh-TA-noo בְּנֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ marriages beh-noh-tay-HEM תִּתְּנוּ with tee-teh-NOO לָ֔נוּ us, LA-noo וְאֶת and veh-ET בְּנֹתֵ֖ינוּ give beh-noh-TAY-noo תִּקְח֥וּ your teek-HOO לָכֶֽם׃ daughters la-HEM -
וְאִתָּ֖נוּ ye veh-ee-TA-noo תֵּשֵׁ֑בוּ shall tay-SHAY-voo וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ dwell veh-ha-AH-RETS תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה with tee-heh-YEH לִפְנֵיכֶ֔ם us: leef-nay-HEM שְׁבוּ֙ and sheh-VOO וּסְחָר֔וּהָ the oo-seh-ha-ROO-ha וְהֵֽאָחֲז֖וּ land veh-hay-ah-huh-ZOO בָּֽהּ׃ shall ba -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Shechem va-YOH-mer שְׁכֶם֙ said sheh-HEM אֶל unto el אָבִ֣יה her ah-VEE וְאֶל father veh-EL אַחֶ֔יהָ and ah-HAY-ha אֶמְצָא unto em-TSA חֵ֖ן her hane בְּעֵֽינֵיכֶ֑ם brethren, beh-ay-nay-HEM וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר Let va-uh-SHER תֹּֽאמְר֛וּ me toh-meh-ROO אֵלַ֖י find ay-LAI אֶתֵּֽן׃ grace eh-TANE -
הַרְבּ֨וּ hahr-BOO עָלַ֤י me ah-LAI מְאֹד֙ never meh-ODE מֹ֣הַר so MOH-hahr וּמַתָּ֔ן much oo-ma-TAHN וְאֶ֨תְּנָ֔ה dowry veh-EH-teh-NA כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר and ka-uh-SHER תֹּֽאמְר֖וּ gift, toh-meh-ROO אֵלָ֑י and ay-LAI וּתְנוּ I oo-teh-NOO לִ֥י will lee אֶת give et הַֽנַּעֲרָ֖ according ha-na-uh-RA לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ as leh-ee-SHA -
וַיַּֽעֲנ֨וּ the va-ya-uh-NOO בְנֵֽי sons veh-NAY יַעֲקֹ֜ב of ya-uh-KOVE אֶת Jacob et שְׁכֶ֨ם answered sheh-HEM וְאֶת veh-ET חֲמ֥וֹר Shechem huh-MORE אָבִ֛יו and ah-VEEOO בְּמִרְמָ֖ה Hamor beh-meer-MA וַיְדַבֵּ֑רוּ his vai-da-BAY-roo אֲשֶׁ֣ר father uh-SHER טִמֵּ֔א deceitfully, tee-MAY אֵ֖ת and ate דִּינָ֥ה said, dee-NA אֲחֹתָֽם׃ because uh-hoh-TAHM -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ they va-yoh-meh-ROO אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם said uh-lay-HEM לֹ֤א unto loh נוּכַל֙ them, noo-HAHL לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ We la-uh-SOTE הַדָּבָ֣ר cannot ha-da-VAHR הַזֶּ֔ה ha-ZEH לָתֵת֙ do la-TATE אֶת this et אֲחֹתֵ֔נוּ thing, uh-hoh-TAY-noo לְאִ֖ישׁ to leh-EESH אֲשֶׁר give uh-SHER ל֣וֹ loh עָרְלָ֑ה our ore-LA כִּֽי sister kee חֶרְפָּ֥ה to her-PA הִ֖וא one heev לָֽנוּ׃ that la-NOO -

וְנָתַ֤נּוּ will veh-na-TA-noo אֶת we et בְּנֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙ give beh-noh-TAY-NOO לָכֶ֔ם la-HEM וְאֶת our veh-ET בְּנֹֽתֵיכֶ֖ם daughters beh-noh-tay-HEM נִֽקַּֽח unto NEE-KAHK לָ֑נוּ you, LA-noo וְיָשַׁ֣בְנוּ and veh-ya-SHAHV-noo אִתְּכֶ֔ם we ee-teh-HEM וְהָיִ֖ינוּ will veh-ha-YEE-noo לְעַ֥ם take leh-AM אֶחָֽד׃ your eh-HAHD -
וְאִם if veh-EEM לֹ֧א ye loh תִשְׁמְע֛וּ will teesh-meh-OO אֵלֵ֖ינוּ not ay-LAY-noo לְהִמּ֑וֹל hearken leh-HEE-mole וְלָקַ֥חְנוּ unto veh-la-KAHK-noo אֶת us, et בִּתֵּ֖נוּ to bee-TAY-noo וְהָלָֽכְנוּ׃ be veh-ha-LA-heh-noo -
וַיִּֽיטְב֥וּ their va-yee-teh-VOO דִבְרֵיהֶ֖ם words deev-ray-HEM בְּעֵינֵ֣י pleased beh-ay-NAY חֲמ֑וֹר huh-MORE וּבְעֵינֵ֖י Hamor, oo-veh-ay-NAY שְׁכֶ֥ם and sheh-HEM בֶּן Shechem ben חֲמֽוֹר׃ Hamor's huh-MORE -

הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֨ים men ha-uh-na-SHEEM הָאֵ֜לֶּה are ha-A-leh שְֽׁלֵמִ֧ים peaceable sheh-lay-MEEM הֵ֣ם with hame אִתָּ֗נוּ us; ee-TA-noo וְיֵֽשְׁב֤וּ therefore veh-yay-sheh-VOO בָאָ֙רֶץ֙ let va-AH-RETS וְיִסְחֲר֣וּ them veh-yees-huh-ROO אֹתָ֔הּ dwell oh-TA וְהָאָ֛רֶץ in veh-ha-AH-rets הִנֵּ֥ה the hee-NAY רַֽחֲבַת land, RA-huh-vaht יָדַ֖יִם and ya-DA-yeem לִפְנֵיהֶ֑ם trade leef-nay-HEM אֶת therein; et בְּנֹתָם֙ for beh-noh-TAHM נִקַּֽח the nee-KAHK לָ֣נוּ land, LA-noo לְנָשִׁ֔ים behold, leh-na-SHEEM וְאֶת it veh-ET בְּנֹתֵ֖ינוּ is beh-noh-TAY-noo נִתֵּ֥ן large nee-TANE לָהֶֽם׃ enough la-HEM -
אַךְ herein ak בְּ֠זֹאת will BEH-zote יֵאֹ֨תוּ the yay-OH-too לָ֤נוּ men LA-noo הָֽאֲנָשִׁים֙ consent ha-uh-na-SHEEM לָשֶׁ֣בֶת unto la-SHEH-vet אִתָּ֔נוּ us ee-TA-noo לִֽהְי֖וֹת for lee-heh-YOTE לְעַ֣ם to leh-AM אֶחָ֑ד dwell eh-HAHD בְּהִמּ֥וֹל with beh-HEE-mole לָ֙נוּ֙ us, LA-NOO כָּל to kahl זָכָ֔ר be za-HAHR כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר one ka-uh-SHER הֵ֥ם people, hame נִמֹּלִֽים׃ if nee-moh-LEEM -
מִקְנֵהֶ֤ם not meek-nay-HEM וְקִנְיָנָם֙ their veh-keen-ya-NAHM וְכָל cattle veh-HAHL בְּהֶמְתָּ֔ם and beh-hem-TAHM הֲל֥וֹא their huh-LOH לָ֖נוּ substance LA-noo הֵ֑ם and hame אַ֚ךְ every ak נֵא֣וֹתָה beast nay-OH-ta לָהֶ֔ם of la-HEM וְיֵֽשְׁב֖וּ theirs veh-yay-sheh-VOO אִתָּֽנוּ׃ be ee-ta-NOO -

בְּנֵ֣י sons beh-NAY יַֽעֲקֹ֗ב of ya-uh-KOVE בָּ֚אוּ Jacob BA-oo עַל came al הַ֣חֲלָלִ֔ים upon HA-huh-la-LEEM וַיָּבֹ֖זּוּ the va-ya-VOH-zoo הָעִ֑יר slain, ha-EER אֲשֶׁ֥ר and uh-SHER טִמְּא֖וּ spoiled tee-meh-OO אֲחוֹתָֽם׃ the uh-hoh-TAHM -
אֶת took et צֹאנָ֥ם tsoh-NAHM וְאֶת their veh-ET בְּקָרָ֖ם sheep, beh-ka-RAHM וְאֶת and veh-ET חֲמֹרֵיהֶּ֑ם their huh-moh-ray-HEM וְאֵ֧ת oxen, veh-ATE אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER בָּעִ֛יר their ba-EER וְאֶת asses, veh-ET אֲשֶׁ֥ר and uh-SHER בַּשָּׂדֶ֖ה that ba-sa-DEH לָקָֽחוּ׃ which la-ka-HOO -
וְאֶת all veh-ET כָּל their kahl חֵילָ֤ם wealth, hay-LAHM וְאֶת and veh-ET כָּל all kahl טַפָּם֙ their ta-PAHM וְאֶת little veh-ET נְשֵׁיהֶ֔ם ones, neh-shay-HEM שָׁב֖וּ and sha-VOO וַיָּבֹ֑זּוּ their va-ya-VOH-zoo וְאֵ֖ת wives veh-ATE כָּל took kahl אֲשֶׁ֥ר they uh-SHER בַּבָּֽיִת׃ captive, ba-BA-yeet -
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר Jacob va-YOH-mer יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב said ya-uh-KOVE אֶל to el שִׁמְע֣וֹן Simeon sheem-ONE וְאֶל and veh-EL לֵוִי֮ Levi, lay-VEE עֲכַרְתֶּ֣ם Ye uh-hahr-TEM אֹתִי֒ have oh-TEE לְהַבְאִישֵׁ֙נִי֙ troubled leh-hahv-ee-SHAY-NEE בְּיֹשֵׁ֣ב me beh-yoh-SHAVE הָאָ֔רֶץ to ha-AH-rets בַּֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י make ba-keh-na-uh-NEE וּבַפְּרִזִּ֑י me oo-va-peh-ree-ZEE וַֽאֲנִי֙ to va-uh-NEE מְתֵ֣י stink meh-TAY מִסְפָּ֔ר among mees-PAHR וְנֶֽאֶסְפ֤וּ the veh-neh-es-FOO עָלַי֙ inhabitants ah-LA וְהִכּ֔וּנִי of veh-HEE-koo-nee וְנִשְׁמַדְתִּ֖י the veh-neesh-mahd-TEE אֲנִ֥י land, uh-NEE וּבֵיתִֽי׃ among oo-vay-TEE -
