וְיִפְתָּ֣ח Jephthah veh-yeef-TAHK הַגִּלְעָדִ֗י the ha-ɡeel-ah-DEE הָיָה֙ Gileadite ha-YA גִּבּ֣וֹר was ɡEE-bore חַ֔יִל a HA-yeel וְה֖וּא mighty veh-HOO בֶּן man ben אִשָּׁ֣ה of ee-SHA זוֹנָ֑ה valour, zoh-NA וַיּ֥וֹלֶד and VA-yoh-led גִּלְעָ֖ד he ɡeel-AD אֶת was et יִפְתָּֽח׃ the yeef-TAHK -
וַתֵּ֧לֶד Gilead's va-TAY-led אֵֽשֶׁת wife A-shet גִּלְעָ֛ד bare ɡeel-AD ל֖וֹ him loh בָּנִ֑ים sons; ba-NEEM וַיִּגְדְּל֨וּ and va-yeeɡ-deh-LOO בְֽנֵי his VEH-nay הָאִשָּׁ֜ה wife's ha-ee-SHA וַיְגָֽרְשׁ֣וּ sons vai-ɡa-reh-SHOO אֶת grew et יִפְתָּ֗ח up, yeef-TAHK וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ and va-YOH-meh-roo לוֹ֙ they loh לֹֽא thrust loh תִנְחַ֣ל out teen-HAHL בְּבֵית beh-VATE אָבִ֔ינוּ Jephthah, ah-VEE-noo כִּ֛י and kee בֶּן said ben אִשָּׁ֥ה unto ee-SHA אַחֶ֖רֶת him, ah-HEH-ret אָֽתָּה׃ Thou AH-ta -
וַיִּבְרַ֤ח Jephthah va-yeev-RAHK יִפְתָּח֙ fled yeef-TAHK מִפְּנֵ֣י from mee-peh-NAY אֶחָ֔יו his eh-HAV וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב brethren, va-YAY-shev בְּאֶ֣רֶץ and beh-EH-rets ט֑וֹב dwelt tove וַיִּֽתְלַקְּט֤וּ in va-yee-teh-la-keh-TOO אֶל the el יִפְתָּח֙ land yeef-TAHK אֲנָשִׁ֣ים of uh-na-SHEEM רֵיקִ֔ים Tob: ray-KEEM וַיֵּֽצְא֖וּ and va-yay-tseh-OO עִמּֽוֹ׃ there ee-moh -
וַיְהִ֖י it vai-HEE מִיָּמִ֑ים came mee-ya-MEEM וַיִּלָּֽחֲמ֥וּ to va-yee-la-huh-MOO בְנֵֽי pass veh-NAY עַמּ֖וֹן in AH-mone עִם process eem יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of yees-ra-ALE -
וַיְהִ֕י it vai-HEE כַּֽאֲשֶׁר was KA-uh-sher נִלְחֲמ֥וּ so, neel-huh-MOO בְנֵֽי that veh-NAY עַמּ֖וֹן when AH-mone עִם the eem יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל children yees-ra-ALE וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ of va-yay-leh-HOO זִקְנֵ֣י Ammon zeek-NAY גִלְעָ֔ד made ɡeel-AD לָקַ֥חַת war la-KA-haht אֶת against et יִפְתָּ֖ח Israel, yeef-TAHK מֵאֶ֥רֶץ the may-EH-rets טֽוֹב׃ elders tove -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ they va-yoh-meh-ROO לְיִפְתָּ֔ח said leh-yeef-TAHK לְכָ֕ה unto leh-HA וְהָיִ֥יתָה Jephthah, veh-ha-YEE-ta לָּ֖נוּ Come, LA-noo לְקָצִ֑ין and leh-ka-TSEEN וְנִֽלָּחֲמָ֖ה be veh-nee-la-huh-MA בִּבְנֵ֥י our beev-NAY עַמּֽוֹן׃ captain, ah-mone -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Jephthah va-YOH-mer יִפְתָּח֙ said yeef-TAHK לְזִקְנֵ֣י unto leh-zeek-NAY גִלְעָ֔ד the ɡeel-AD הֲלֹ֤א elders huh-LOH אַתֶּם֙ of ah-TEM שְׂנֵאתֶ֣ם Gilead, seh-nay-TEM אוֹתִ֔י Did oh-TEE וַתְּגָֽרְשׁ֖וּנִי not va-teh-ɡa-reh-SHOO-nee מִבֵּ֣ית ye mee-BATE אָבִ֑י hate ah-VEE וּמַדּ֜וּעַ me, oo-MA-doo-ah בָּאתֶ֤ם and ba-TEM אֵלַי֙ expel ay-LA עַ֔תָּה me AH-ta כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר out ka-uh-SHER צַ֥ר of tsahr לָכֶֽם׃ my la-HEM -
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֩ the va-yoh-meh-ROO זִקְנֵ֨י elders zeek-NAY גִלְעָ֜ד of ɡeel-AD אֶל Gilead el יִפְתָּ֗ח said yeef-TAHK לָכֵן֙ unto la-HANE עַתָּה֙ Jephthah, ah-TA שַׁ֣בְנוּ Therefore SHAHV-noo אֵלֶ֔יךָ we ay-LAY-ha וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֣ turn veh-ha-lahk-TA עִמָּ֔נוּ again ee-MA-noo וְנִלְחַמְתָּ֖ to veh-neel-hahm-TA בִּבְנֵ֣י thee beev-NAY עַמּ֑וֹן now, AH-mone וְהָיִ֤יתָ that veh-ha-YEE-ta לָּ֙נוּ֙ thou LA-NOO לְרֹ֔אשׁ mayest leh-ROHSH לְכֹ֖ל go leh-HOLE יֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י with yoh-sheh-VAY גִלְעָֽד׃ us, ɡeel-AD -
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר Jephthah va-YOH-mer יִפְתָּ֜ח said yeef-TAHK אֶל unto el זִקְנֵ֣י the zeek-NAY גִלְעָ֗ד elders ɡeel-AD אִם of eem מְשִׁיבִ֨ים Gilead, meh-shee-VEEM אַתֶּ֤ם If ah-TEM אוֹתִי֙ ye oh-TEE לְהִלָּחֵם֙ bring leh-hee-la-HAME בִּבְנֵ֣י me beev-NAY עַמּ֔וֹן home AH-mone וְנָתַ֧ן again veh-na-TAHN יְהוָ֛ה yeh-VA אוֹתָ֖ם to oh-TAHM לְפָנָ֑י fight leh-fa-NAI אָֽנֹכִ֕י against ah-noh-HEE אֶֽהְיֶ֥ה the eh-heh-YEH לָכֶ֖ם children la-HEM לְרֹֽאשׁ׃ of leh-ROHSH -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֥וּ the va-yoh-meh-ROO זִקְנֵֽי elders zeek-NAY גִלְעָ֖ד of ɡeel-AD אֶל Gilead el יִפְתָּ֑ח said yeef-TAHK יְהוָ֗ה unto yeh-VA יִֽהְיֶ֤ה Jephthah, yee-heh-YEH שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ The shoh-MAY-AH בֵּֽינוֹתֵ֔ינוּ Lord bay-noh-TAY-noo אִם be eem לֹ֥א witness loh כִדְבָֽרְךָ֖ between heed-va-reh-HA כֵּ֥ן us, kane נַֽעֲשֶֽׂה׃ if NA-uh-SEH -
וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ Jephthah va-YAY-lek יִפְתָּח֙ went yeef-TAHK עִם with eem זִקְנֵ֣י the zeek-NAY גִלְעָ֔ד elders ɡeel-AD וַיָּשִׂ֨ימוּ of va-ya-SEE-moo הָעָ֥ם Gilead, ha-AM אוֹת֛וֹ and oh-TOH עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם the uh-lay-HEM לְרֹ֣אשׁ people leh-ROHSH וּלְקָצִ֑ין made oo-leh-ka-TSEEN וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר him vai-da-BARE יִפְתָּ֧ח head yeef-TAHK אֶת and et כָּל captain kahl דְּבָרָ֛יו over deh-va-RAV לִפְנֵ֥י them: leef-NAY יְהוָ֖ה and yeh-VA בַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ Jephthah ba-meets-PA -
וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח Jephthah va-yeesh-LAHK יִפְתָּח֙ sent yeef-TAHK מַלְאָכִ֔ים messengers mahl-ah-HEEM אֶל unto el מֶ֥לֶךְ the MEH-lek בְּנֵֽי king beh-NAY עַמּ֖וֹן of AH-mone לֵאמֹ֑ר the lay-MORE מַה children ma לִּ֣י of lee וָלָ֔ךְ Ammon, va-LAHK כִּֽי saying, kee בָ֥אתָ What VA-ta אֵלַ֖י hast ay-LAI לְהִלָּחֵ֥ם thou leh-hee-la-HAME בְּאַרְצִֽי׃ to beh-ar-TSEE -
וַיֹּאמֶר֩ the va-yoh-MER מֶ֨לֶךְ king MEH-lek בְּנֵֽי of beh-NAY עַמּ֜וֹן the AH-mone אֶל children el מַלְאֲכֵ֣י of mahl-uh-HAY יִפְתָּ֗ח Ammon yeef-TAHK כִּֽי answered kee לָקַ֨ח unto la-KAHK יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל the yees-ra-ALE אֶת messengers et אַרְצִי֙ of ar-TSEE בַּֽעֲלוֹת֣וֹ Jephthah, ba-uh-loh-TOH מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם Because mee-meets-RA-yeem מֵֽאַרְנ֥וֹן Israel may-ar-NONE וְעַד took veh-AD הַיַּבֹּ֖ק away ha-ya-BOKE וְעַד veh-AD הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן my ha-yahr-DANE וְעַתָּ֕ה land, veh-ah-TA הָשִׁ֥יבָה when ha-SHEE-va אֶתְהֶ֖ן they et-HEN בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃ came beh-sha-LOME -
וַיּ֥וֹסֶף Jephthah VA-yoh-sef ע֖וֹד sent ode יִפְתָּ֑ח messengers yeef-TAHK וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ again va-yeesh-LAHK מַלְאָכִ֔ים mahl-ah-HEEM אֶל unto el מֶ֖לֶךְ the MEH-lek בְּנֵ֥י king beh-NAY עַמּֽוֹן׃ of ah-mone -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said va-YOH-mer ל֔וֹ unto loh כֹּ֖ה him, koh אָמַ֣ר Thus ah-MAHR יִפְתָּ֑ח saith yeef-TAHK לֹֽא Jephthah, loh לָקַ֤ח Israel la-KAHK יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ took yees-ra-ALE אֶת not et אֶ֣רֶץ away EH-rets מוֹאָ֔ב moh-AV וְאֶת veh-ET אֶ֖רֶץ the EH-rets בְּנֵ֥י land beh-NAY עַמּֽוֹן׃ of ah-mone -
כִּ֖י when kee בַּֽעֲלוֹתָ֣ם Israel ba-uh-loh-TAHM מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם came mee-meets-RA-yeem וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ up va-YAY-lek יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל from yees-ra-ALE בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ Egypt, ba-meed-BAHR עַד and ad יַם walked yahm ס֔וּף through soof וַיָּבֹ֖א the va-ya-VOH קָדֵֽשָׁה׃ wilderness ka-DAY-sha -
וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח Israel va-yeesh-LAHK יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל sent yees-ra-ALE מַלְאָכִ֣ים׀ messengers mahl-ah-HEEM אֶל unto el מֶלֶךְ֩ the meh-lek אֱד֨וֹם׀ king ay-DOME לֵאמֹ֜ר of lay-MORE אֶעְבְּרָה Edom, eh-beh-RA נָּ֣א saying, na בְאַרְצֶ֗ךָ Let veh-ar-TSEH-ha וְלֹ֤א me, veh-LOH שָׁמַע֙ I sha-MA מֶ֣לֶךְ pray MEH-lek אֱד֔וֹם thee, ay-DOME וְגַ֨ם pass veh-ɡAHM אֶל through el מֶ֧לֶךְ thy MEH-lek מוֹאָ֛ב land: moh-AV שָׁלַ֖ח but sha-LAHK וְלֹ֣א the veh-LOH אָבָ֑ה king ah-VA וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב of va-YAY-shev יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Edom yees-ra-ALE בְּקָדֵֽשׁ׃ would beh-ka-DAYSH -
וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ they va-YAY-lek בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר went ba-meed-BAHR וַיָּ֜סָב along va-YA-sove אֶת through et אֶ֤רֶץ the EH-rets אֱדוֹם֙ wilderness, ay-DOME וְאֶת and veh-ET אֶ֣רֶץ compassed EH-rets מוֹאָ֔ב moh-AV וַיָּבֹ֤א the va-ya-VOH מִמִּזְרַח land mee-meez-RAHK שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ of SHEH-MESH לְאֶ֣רֶץ Edom, leh-EH-rets מוֹאָ֔ב and moh-AV וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּן the va-ya-huh-NOON בְּעֵ֣בֶר land beh-A-ver אַרְנ֑וֹן of ar-NONE וְלֹֽא Moab, veh-LOH בָ֙אוּ֙ and VA-OO בִּגְב֣וּל came beeɡ-VOOL מוֹאָ֔ב by moh-AV כִּ֥י the kee אַרְנ֖וֹן east ar-NONE גְּב֥וּל side ɡeh-VOOL מוֹאָֽב׃ moh-AV -
וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח Israel va-yeesh-LAHK יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ sent yees-ra-ALE מַלְאָכִ֔ים messengers mahl-ah-HEEM אֶל unto el סִיח֥וֹן Sihon see-HONE מֶֽלֶךְ king MEH-lek הָאֱמֹרִ֖י of ha-ay-moh-REE מֶ֣לֶךְ the MEH-lek חֶשְׁבּ֑וֹן Amorites, hesh-BONE וַיֹּ֤אמֶר the va-YOH-mer לוֹ֙ king loh יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE נַעְבְּרָה Heshbon; na-beh-RA נָּ֥א and na בְאַרְצְךָ֖ Israel veh-ar-tseh-HA עַד said ad מְקוֹמִֽי׃ unto meh-koh-MEE -
וְלֹֽא Sihon veh-LOH הֶאֱמִ֨ין trusted heh-ay-MEEN סִיח֤וֹן not see-HONE אֶת et יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yees-ra-ALE עֲבֹ֣ר to uh-VORE בִּגְבֻל֔וֹ pass beeɡ-voo-LOH וַיֶּֽאֱסֹ֤ף through va-yeh-ay-SOFE סִיחוֹן֙ his see-HONE אֶת coast: et כָּל but kahl עַמּ֔וֹ Sihon AH-moh וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ gathered va-ya-huh-NOO בְּיָ֑הְצָה all beh-YA-heh-tsa וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם his va-yee-LA-hem עִם people eem יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ together, yees-ra-ALE -

וַיִּ֣ירְשׁ֔וּ they va-YEE-reh-SHOO אֵ֖ת possessed ate כָּל kahl גְּב֣וּל all ɡeh-VOOL הָֽאֱמֹרִ֑י the ha-ay-moh-REE מֵֽאַרְנוֹן֙ coasts may-ar-NONE וְעַד of veh-AD הַיַּבֹּ֔ק the ha-ya-BOKE וּמִן Amorites, oo-MEEN הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר from ha-meed-BAHR וְעַד Arnon veh-AD הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ even ha-yahr-DANE -
וְעַתָּ֞ה now veh-ah-TA יְהוָ֣ה׀ the yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֣י Lord ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל God yees-ra-ALE הוֹרִישׁ֙ of hoh-REESH אֶת Israel et הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י hath HA-ay-moh-REE מִפְּנֵ֖י dispossessed mee-peh-NAY עַמּ֣וֹ AH-moh יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the yees-ra-ALE וְאַתָּ֖ה Amorites veh-ah-TA תִּֽירָשֶֽׁנּוּ׃ from TEE-ra-SHEH-noo -
הֲלֹ֞א not huh-LOH אֵ֣ת thou ate אֲשֶׁ֧ר possess uh-SHER יוֹרִֽישְׁךָ֛ yoh-ree-sheh-HA כְּמ֥וֹשׁ that keh-MOHSH אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ which ay-loh-HAY-ha אוֹת֥וֹ Chemosh oh-TOH תִירָ֑שׁ thy tee-RAHSH וְאֵת֩ god veh-ATE כָּל giveth kahl אֲשֶׁ֨ר thee uh-SHER הוֹרִ֜ישׁ to hoh-REESH יְהוָ֧ה possess? yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ So ay-loh-HAY-noo מִפָּנֵ֖ינוּ whomsoever mee-pa-NAY-noo אוֹת֥וֹ oh-TOH נִירָֽשׁ׃ the nee-RAHSH -
וְעַתָּ֗ה now veh-ah-TA הֲט֥וֹב art huh-TOVE טוֹב֙ thou tove אַתָּ֔ה any ah-TA מִבָּלָ֥ק thing mee-ba-LAHK בֶּן better ben צִפּ֖וֹר TSEE-pore מֶ֣לֶךְ than MEH-lek מוֹאָ֑ב Balak moh-AV הֲר֥וֹב the huh-ROVE רָב֙ son rahv עִם of eem יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Zippor, yees-ra-ALE אִם king eem נִלְחֹ֥ם of neel-HOME נִלְחַ֖ם Moab? neel-HAHM בָּֽם׃ did bahm -
בְּשֶׁ֣בֶת Israel beh-SHEH-vet יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל dwelt YEES-ra-ale בְּחֶשְׁבּ֨וֹן in beh-hesh-BONE וּבִבְנוֹתֶ֜יהָ Heshbon oo-veev-noh-TAY-ha וּבְעַרְע֣וֹר and oo-veh-ar-ORE וּבִבְנוֹתֶ֗יהָ her oo-veev-noh-TAY-ha וּבְכָל towns, oo-veh-HAHL הֶֽעָרִים֙ and heh-ah-REEM אֲשֶׁר֙ in uh-SHER עַל Aroer al יְדֵ֣י and yeh-DAY אַרְנ֔וֹן her ar-NONE שְׁלֹ֥שׁ towns, sheh-LOHSH מֵא֖וֹת and may-OTE שָׁנָ֑ה in sha-NA וּמַדּ֥וּעַ all oo-MA-doo-ah לֹֽא the loh הִצַּלְתֶּ֖ם cities hee-tsahl-TEM בָּעֵ֥ת that ba-ATE הַהִֽיא׃ be ha-HEE -
וְאָֽנֹכִי֙ I veh-ah-noh-HEE לֹֽא have loh חָטָ֣אתִי not ha-TA-tee לָ֔ךְ sinned lahk וְאַתָּ֞ה against veh-ah-TA עֹשֶׂ֥ה thee, oh-SEH אִתִּ֛י but ee-TEE רָעָ֖ה thou ra-AH לְהִלָּ֣חֶם doest leh-hee-LA-hem בִּ֑י bee יִשְׁפֹּ֨ט me yeesh-POTE יְהוָ֤ה wrong yeh-VA הַשֹּׁפֵט֙ to ha-shoh-FATE הַיּ֔וֹם war HA-yome בֵּ֚ין against bane בְּנֵ֣י me: beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the yees-ra-ALE וּבֵ֖ין Lord oo-VANE בְּנֵ֥י the beh-NAY עַמּֽוֹן׃ Judge ah-mone -
וְלֹ֣א the veh-LOH שָׁמַ֔ע king sha-MA מֶ֖לֶךְ of MEH-lek בְּנֵ֣י the beh-NAY עַמּ֑וֹן children AH-mone אֶל of el דִּבְרֵ֣י Ammon deev-RAY יִפְתָּ֔ח hearkened yeef-TAHK אֲשֶׁ֥ר not uh-SHER שָׁלַ֖ח unto sha-LAHK אֵלָֽיו׃ the ay-LAIV -
וַתְּהִ֤י the va-teh-HEE עַל Spirit al יִפְתָּח֙ of yeef-TAHK ר֣וּחַ the ROO-ak יְהוָ֔ה Lord yeh-VA וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֥ר came va-ya-uh-VORE אֶת upon et הַגִּלְעָ֖ד Jephthah, ha-ɡeel-AD וְאֶת and veh-ET מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה he meh-na-SHEH וַֽיַּעֲבֹר֙ passed va-ya-uh-VORE אֶת over et מִצְפֵּ֣ה meets-PAY גִלְעָ֔ד Gilead, ɡeel-AD וּמִמִּצְפֵּ֣ה and oo-mee-meets-PAY גִלְעָ֔ד Manasseh, ɡeel-AD עָבַ֖ר and ah-VAHR בְּנֵ֥י passed beh-NAY עַמּֽוֹן׃ over ah-mone -
וַיִּדַּ֨ר Jephthah va-yee-DAHR יִפְתָּ֥ח vowed yeef-TAHK נֶ֛דֶר a NEH-der לַֽיהוָ֖ה vow lai-VA וַיֹּאמַ֑ר unto va-yoh-MAHR אִם the eem נָת֥וֹן Lord, na-TONE תִּתֵּ֛ן and tee-TANE אֶת said, et בְּנֵ֥י If beh-NAY עַמּ֖וֹן thou AH-mone בְּיָדִֽי׃ shalt beh-ya-DEE -
וְהָיָ֣ה it veh-ha-YA הַיּוֹצֵ֗א shall ha-yoh-TSAY אֲשֶׁ֨ר be, uh-SHER יֵצֵ֜א that yay-TSAY מִדַּלְתֵ֤י whatsoever mee-dahl-TAY בֵיתִי֙ vay-TEE לִקְרָאתִ֔י cometh leek-ra-TEE בְּשׁוּבִ֥י forth beh-shoo-VEE בְשָׁל֖וֹם of veh-sha-LOME מִבְּנֵ֣י the mee-beh-NAY עַמּ֑וֹן doors AH-mone וְהָיָה֙ of veh-ha-YA לַֽיהוָ֔ה my lai-VA וְהַֽעֲלִיתִ֖יהוּ house veh-ha-uh-lee-TEE-hoo עוֹלָֽה׃ to oh-LA -
וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֥ר Jephthah va-ya-uh-VORE יִפְתָּ֛ח passed yeef-TAHK אֶל over el בְּנֵ֥י unto beh-NAY עַמּ֖וֹן the AH-mone לְהִלָּ֣חֶם children leh-hee-LA-hem בָּ֑ם of bahm וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם Ammon va-yee-teh-NAME יְהוָ֖ה to yeh-VA בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ fight beh-ya-DOH -
וַיַּכֵּ֡ם he va-ya-KAME מֵֽעֲרוֹעֵר֩ smote may-uh-roh-ARE וְעַד them veh-AD בֹּֽאֲךָ֙ from boh-uh-HA מִנִּ֜ית Aroer, mee-NEET עֶשְׂרִ֣ים even es-REEM עִ֗יר till eer וְעַד֙ thou veh-AD אָבֵ֣ל come ah-VALE כְּרָמִ֔ים to keh-ra-MEEM מַכָּ֖ה Minnith, ma-KA גְּדוֹלָ֣ה even ɡeh-doh-LA מְאֹ֑ד twenty meh-ODE וַיִּכָּֽנְעוּ֙ cities, va-yee-ka-neh-OO בְּנֵ֣י and beh-NAY עַמּ֔וֹן unto AH-mone מִפְּנֵ֖י the mee-peh-NAY בְּנֵ֥י plain beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of yees-ra-ALE -
וַיָּבֹ֨א Jephthah va-ya-VOH יִפְתָּ֣ח came yeef-TAHK הַמִּצְפָּה֮ to ha-meets-PA אֶל Mizpeh el בֵּיתוֹ֒ unto bay-TOH וְהִנֵּ֤ה his veh-hee-NAY בִתּוֹ֙ house, vee-TOH יֹצֵ֣את and, yoh-TSATE לִקְרָאת֔וֹ behold, leek-ra-TOH בְתֻפִּ֖ים his veh-too-PEEM וּבִמְחֹל֑וֹת daughter oo-veem-hoh-LOTE וְרַק֙ came veh-RAHK הִ֣יא out hee יְחִידָ֔ה to yeh-hee-DA אֵֽין meet ane ל֥וֹ him loh מִמֶּ֛נּוּ with mee-MEH-noo בֵּ֖ן timbrels bane אוֹ and oh בַֽת׃ with vaht -
וַיְהִי֩ it vai-HEE כִרְאוֹת֨וֹ came heer-oh-TOH אוֹתָ֜הּ to oh-TA וַיִּקְרַ֣ע pass, va-yeek-RA אֶת when et בְּגָדָ֗יו he beh-ɡa-DAV וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ saw va-YOH-MER אֲהָ֤הּ her, uh-HA בִּתִּי֙ that bee-TEE הַכְרֵ֣עַ he hahk-RAY-ah הִכְרַעְתִּ֔נִי rent heek-ra-TEE-nee וְאַ֖תְּ veh-AT הָיִ֣יתְ his ha-YEET בְּעֹֽכְרָ֑י clothes, beh-oh-heh-RAI וְאָֽנֹכִ֗י and veh-ah-noh-HEE פָּצִ֤יתִי said, pa-TSEE-tee פִי֙ Alas, fee אֶל my el יְהוָ֔ה daughter! yeh-VA וְלֹ֥א thou veh-LOH אוּכַ֖ל hast oo-HAHL לָשֽׁוּב׃ brought la-SHOOV -
וַתֹּ֣אמֶר she va-TOH-mer אֵלָ֗יו said ay-LAV אָבִי֙ unto ah-VEE פָּצִ֤יתָה him, pa-TSEE-ta אֶת My et פִּ֙יךָ֙ father, PEE-HA אֶל if el יְהוָ֔ה thou yeh-VA עֲשֵׂ֣ה hast uh-SAY לִ֔י opened lee כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר ka-uh-SHER יָצָ֣א thy ya-TSA מִפִּ֑יךָ mouth mee-PEE-ha אַֽחֲרֵ֡י unto ah-huh-RAY אֲשֶׁ֣ר the uh-SHER עָשָׂה֩ Lord, ah-SA לְךָ֙ do leh-HA יְהוָ֧ה to yeh-VA נְקָמ֛וֹת me neh-ka-MOTE מֵאֹֽיְבֶ֖יךָ according may-oh-yeh-VAY-ha מִבְּנֵ֥י to mee-beh-NAY עַמּֽוֹן׃ that ah-mone -
וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ she va-TOH-MER אֶל said el אָבִ֔יהָ unto ah-VEE-ha יֵעָ֥שֶׂה her yay-AH-seh לִּ֖י father, lee הַדָּבָ֣ר Let ha-da-VAHR הַזֶּ֑ה this ha-ZEH הַרְפֵּ֨ה thing hahr-PAY מִמֶּ֜נִּי be mee-MEH-nee שְׁנַ֣יִם done sheh-NA-yeem חֳדָשִׁ֗ים for hoh-da-SHEEM וְאֵֽלְכָה֙ me: veh-ay-leh-HA וְיָֽרַדְתִּ֣י let veh-ya-rahd-TEE עַל me al הֶֽהָרִ֔ים alone heh-ha-REEM וְאֶבְכֶּה֙ veh-ev-KEH עַל two al בְּתוּלַ֔י months, beh-too-LAI אָֽנֹכִ֖י that ah-noh-HEE וְרֵֽעיֹתָֽי׃ I veh-RAY-yoh-TAI -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer לֵ֔כִי said, LAY-hee וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח Go. va-yeesh-LAHK אוֹתָ֖הּ And oh-TA שְׁנֵ֣י he sheh-NAY חֳדָשִׁ֑ים sent hoh-da-SHEEM וַתֵּ֤לֶךְ her va-TAY-lek הִיא֙ away hee וְרֵ֣עוֹתֶ֔יהָ veh-RAY-oh-TAY-ha וַתֵּ֥בְךְּ for va-TAY-vek עַל two al בְּתוּלֶ֖יהָ months: beh-too-LAY-ha עַל and al הֶֽהָרִֽים׃ she HEH-ha-REEM -
וַיְהִ֞י it vai-HEE מִקֵּ֣ץ׀ came mee-KAYTS שְׁנַ֣יִם to sheh-NA-yeem חֳדָשִׁ֗ים pass hoh-da-SHEEM וַתָּ֙שָׁב֙ at va-TA-SHAHV אֶל the el אָבִ֔יהָ end ah-VEE-ha וַיַּ֣עַשׂ of va-YA-as לָ֔הּ two la אֶת months, et נִדְר֖וֹ that need-ROH אֲשֶׁ֣ר she uh-SHER נָדָ֑ר returned na-DAHR וְהִיא֙ unto veh-HEE לֹֽא her loh יָדְעָ֣ה father, yode-AH אִ֔ישׁ who eesh וַתְּהִי did va-teh-HEE חֹ֖ק with hoke בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ her beh-yees-ra-ALE -
