וַתְּהִ֨י there va-teh-HEE צַֽעֲקַ֥ת was tsa-uh-KAHT הָעָ֛ם a ha-AM וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם great oo-neh-shay-HEM גְּדוֹלָ֑ה cry ɡeh-doh-LA אֶל of el אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם the uh-hay-HEM הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃ people ha-yeh-hoo-DEEM -
וְיֵשׁ֙ there veh-YAYSH אֲשֶׁ֣ר were uh-SHER אֹֽמְרִ֔ים that oh-meh-REEM בָּנֵ֥ינוּ said, ba-NAY-noo וּבְנֹתֵ֖ינוּ We, oo-veh-noh-TAY-noo אֲנַ֣חְנוּ our uh-NAHK-noo רַבִּ֑ים sons, ra-BEEM וְנִקְחָ֥ה and veh-neek-HA דָגָ֖ן our da-ɡAHN וְנֹֽאכְלָ֥ה daughters, veh-noh-heh-LA וְנִֽחְיֶֽה׃ are veh-NEE-heh-YEH -
וְיֵשׁ֙ also veh-YAYSH אֲשֶׁ֣ר there uh-SHER אֹֽמְרִ֔ים were oh-meh-REEM שְׂדֹתֵ֛ינוּ that seh-doh-TAY-noo וּכְרָמֵ֥ינוּ said, oo-heh-ra-MAY-noo וּבָתֵּ֖ינוּ We oo-voh-TAY-noo אֲנַ֣חְנוּ have uh-NAHK-noo עֹֽרְבִ֑ים mortgaged oh-reh-VEEM וְנִקְחָ֥ה our veh-neek-HA דָגָ֖ן lands, da-ɡAHN בָּֽרָעָֽב׃ vineyards, BA-ra-AV -
וְיֵשׁ֙ were veh-YAYSH אֲשֶׁ֣ר also uh-SHER אֹֽמְרִ֔ים that oh-meh-REEM לָוִ֥ינוּ said, la-VEE-noo כֶ֖סֶף We HEH-sef לְמִדַּ֣ת have leh-mee-DAHT הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ borrowed ha-MEH-lek שְׂדֹתֵ֖ינוּ money seh-doh-TAY-noo וּכְרָמֵֽינוּ׃ for oo-heh-ra-MAY-noo -
וְעַתָּ֗ה now veh-ah-TA כִּבְשַׂ֤ר our keev-SAHR אַחֵ֙ינוּ֙ flesh ah-HAY-NOO בְּשָׂרֵ֔נוּ is beh-sa-RAY-noo כִּבְנֵיהֶ֖ם as keev-nay-HEM בָּנֵ֑ינוּ the ba-NAY-noo וְהִנֵּ֣ה flesh veh-hee-NAY אֲנַ֣חְנוּ of uh-NAHK-noo כֹֽ֠בְשִׁים our HOH-veh-sheem אֶת brethren, et בָּנֵ֨ינוּ our ba-NAY-noo וְאֶת children veh-ET בְּנֹתֵ֜ינוּ as beh-noh-TAY-noo לַֽעֲבָדִ֗ים their la-uh-va-DEEM וְיֵ֨שׁ children: veh-YAYSH מִבְּנֹתֵ֤ינוּ and, mee-beh-noh-TAY-noo נִכְבָּשׁוֹת֙ lo, neek-ba-SHOTE וְאֵ֣ין we veh-ANE לְאֵ֣ל bring leh-ALE יָדֵ֔נוּ into ya-DAY-noo וּשְׂדֹתֵ֥ינוּ bondage oo-seh-doh-TAY-noo וּכְרָמֵ֖ינוּ oo-heh-ra-MAY-noo לַֽאֲחֵרִֽים׃ our LA-uh-hay-REEM -
וַיִּ֥חַר I va-YEE-hahr לִ֖י was lee מְאֹ֑ד very meh-ODE כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר angry ka-uh-SHER שָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙ when sha-MA-TEE אֶת I et זַֽעֲקָתָ֔ם heard za-uh-ka-TAHM וְאֵ֖ת veh-ATE הַדְּבָרִ֥ים their ha-deh-va-REEM הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ cry ha-A-leh -
וַיִּמָּלֵ֨ךְ I va-yee-ma-LAKE לִבִּ֜י consulted lee-BEE עָלַ֗י with ah-LAI וָֽאָרִ֙יבָה֙ myself, va-ah-REE-VA אֶת and et הַֽחֹרִ֣ים I ha-hoh-REEM וְאֶת rebuked veh-ET הַסְּגָנִ֔ים ha-seh-ɡa-NEEM וָאֹֽמְרָ֣ה the va-oh-meh-RA לָהֶ֔ם nobles, la-HEM מַשָּׁ֥א and ma-SHA אִישׁ the eesh בְּאָחִ֖יו rulers, beh-ah-HEEOO אַתֶּ֣ם and ah-TEM נֹשִׁ֑אים said noh-SHEE-m וָֽאֶתֵּ֥ן unto va-eh-TANE עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם them, uh-lay-HEM קְהִלָּ֥ה Ye keh-hee-LA גְדוֹלָֽה׃ exact ɡeh-doh-LA -
וָאֹֽמְרָ֣ה I va-oh-meh-RA לָהֶ֗ם said la-HEM אֲנַ֣חְנוּ unto uh-NAHK-noo קָ֠נִינוּ them, KA-nee-noo אֶת We et אַחֵ֨ינוּ after ah-HAY-noo הַיְּהוּדִ֜ים our ha-yeh-hoo-DEEM הַנִּמְכָּרִ֤ים ability ha-neem-ka-REEM לַגּוֹיִם֙ have la-ɡoh-YEEM כְּדֵ֣י redeemed keh-DAY בָ֔נוּ VA-noo וְגַם our veh-ɡAHM אַתֶּ֛ם brethren ah-TEM תִּמְכְּר֥וּ the teem-keh-ROO אֶת Jews, et אֲחֵיכֶ֖ם which uh-hay-HEM וְנִמְכְּרוּ were veh-neem-keh-ROO לָ֑נוּ sold LA-noo וַֽיַּחֲרִ֔ישׁוּ unto va-ya-huh-REE-shoo וְלֹ֥א the veh-LOH מָֽצְא֖וּ heathen; ma-tseh-OO דָּבָֽר׃ and da-VAHR -
וָיאֹמַ֕ר I vai-oh-MAHR לֹא said, loh ט֥וֹב It tove הַדָּבָ֖ר is ha-da-VAHR אֲשֶׁר not uh-SHER אַתֶּ֣ם good ah-TEM עֹשִׂ֑ים that oh-SEEM הֲל֞וֹא huh-LOH בְּיִרְאַ֤ת ye beh-yeer-AT אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ do: ay-loh-HAY-NOO תֵּלֵ֔כוּ ought tay-LAY-hoo מֵֽחֶרְפַּ֖ת ye may-her-PAHT הַגּוֹיִ֥ם not ha-ɡoh-YEEM אֽוֹיְבֵֽינוּ׃ to OY-VAY-noo -
וְגַם likewise, veh-ɡAHM אֲנִי֙ and uh-NEE אַחַ֣י my ah-HAI וּנְעָרַ֔י brethren, oo-neh-ah-RAI נֹשִׁ֥ים and noh-SHEEM בָּהֶ֖ם my ba-HEM כֶּ֣סֶף servants, KEH-sef וְדָגָ֑ן might veh-da-ɡAHN נַֽעַזְבָה exact NA-az-va נָּ֖א of na אֶת them et הַמַּשָּׁ֥א money ha-ma-SHA הַזֶּֽה׃ and ha-ZEH -
הָשִׁיבוּ֩ I ha-shee-VOO נָ֨א pray na לָהֶ֜ם you, la-HEM כְּהַיּ֗וֹם to keh-HA-yome שְׂדֹֽתֵיהֶ֛ם them, seh-doh-tay-HEM כַּרְמֵיהֶ֥ם even kahr-may-HEM זֵֽיתֵיהֶ֖ם this zay-tay-HEM וּבָֽתֵּיהֶ֑ם day, oo-va-tay-HEM וּמְאַ֨ת their oo-meh-AT הַכֶּ֤סֶף lands, ha-KEH-sef וְהַדָּגָן֙ their veh-ha-da-ɡAHN הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ vineyards, ha-tee-ROHSH וְהַיִּצְהָ֔ר their veh-ha-yeets-HAHR אֲשֶׁ֥ר oliveyards, uh-SHER אַתֶּ֖ם and ah-TEM נֹשִׁ֥ים their noh-SHEEM בָּהֶֽם׃ houses, ba-HEM -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ said va-yoh-meh-ROO נָשִׁ֗יב they, na-SHEEV וּמֵהֶם֙ We oo-may-HEM לֹ֣א will loh נְבַקֵּ֔שׁ restore neh-va-KAYSH כֵּ֣ן them, kane נַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה and na-uh-SEH כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר will ka-uh-SHER אַתָּ֣ה require ah-TA אוֹמֵ֑ר nothing oh-MARE וָֽאֶקְרָא֙ of va-ek-RA אֶת them; et הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים so ha-KOH-huh-NEEM וָֽאַשְׁבִּיעֵ֔ם will va-ash-bee-AME לַֽעֲשׂ֖וֹת we la-uh-SOTE כַּדָּבָ֥ר do ka-da-VAHR הַזֶּֽה׃ as ha-ZEH -
גַּם I ɡahm חָצְנִ֣י shook hohts-NEE נָעַ֗רְתִּי my na-AR-tee וָֽאֹמְרָ֡ה lap, va-oh-meh-RA כָּ֣כָה and KA-ha יְנַעֵ֪ר said, yeh-na-ARE הָֽאֱלֹהִ֟ים So ha-ay-loh-HEEM אֶת God et כָּל shake kahl הָאִישׁ֩ out ha-EESH אֲשֶׁ֨ר uh-SHER לֹֽא every loh יָקִ֜ים man ya-KEEM אֶת from et הַדָּבָ֣ר his ha-da-VAHR הַזֶּ֗ה house, ha-ZEH מִבֵּיתוֹ֙ and mee-bay-TOH וּמִ֣יגִיע֔וֹ from oo-MEE-ɡee-OH וְכָ֛כָה his veh-HA-ha יִֽהְיֶ֥ה labour, yee-heh-YEH נָע֖וּר that na-OOR וָרֵ֑ק performeth va-RAKE וַיֹּֽאמְר֨וּ not va-yoh-meh-ROO כָֽל hahl הַקָּהָ֜ל this ha-ka-HAHL אָמֵ֗ן promise, ah-MANE וַֽיְהַלְלוּ֙ even va-hahl-LOO אֶת thus et יְהוָ֔ה be yeh-VA וַיַּ֥עַשׂ he va-YA-as הָעָ֖ם shaken ha-AM כַּדָּבָ֥ר out, ka-da-VAHR הַזֶּֽה׃ and ha-ZEH -
גַּ֞ם from ɡahm מִיּ֣וֹם׀ the MEE-yome אֲשֶׁר time uh-SHER צִוָּ֣ה that tsee-WA אֹתִ֗י I oh-TEE לִֽהְי֣וֹת was lee-heh-YOTE פֶּחָם֮ appointed peh-HAHM בְּאֶ֣רֶץ to beh-EH-rets יְהוּדָה֒ be yeh-hoo-DA מִשְּׁנַ֣ת their mee-sheh-NAHT עֶשְׂרִ֗ים governor es-REEM וְ֠עַד in VEH-ad שְׁנַ֨ת the sheh-NAHT שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים land sheh-loh-SHEEM וּשְׁתַּ֙יִם֙ of oo-sheh-TA-YEEM לְאַרְתַּחְשַׁ֣סְתְּא Judah, leh-ar-tahk-SHAHS-teh הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ from ha-MEH-lek שָׁנִ֖ים the sha-NEEM שְׁתֵּ֣ים twentieth sheh-TAME עֶשְׂרֵ֑ה year es-RAY אֲנִ֣י even uh-NEE וְאַחַ֔י unto veh-ah-HAI לֶ֥חֶם the LEH-hem הַפֶּ֖חָה two ha-PEH-ha לֹ֥א and loh אָכַֽלְתִּי׃ thirtieth ah-HAHL-tee -
וְהַפַּחוֹת֩ the veh-ha-pa-HOTE הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֨ים former ha-ree-shoh-NEEM אֲשֶׁר governors uh-SHER לְפָנַ֜י that leh-fa-NAI הִכְבִּ֣ידוּ had heek-BEE-doo עַל been al הָעָ֗ם before ha-AM וַיִּקְח֨וּ me va-yeek-HOO מֵהֶ֜ם were may-HEM בְּלֶ֤חֶם chargeable beh-LEH-hem וָיַ֙יִן֙ unto va-YA-YEEN אַחַר֙ the ah-HAHR כֶּֽסֶף people, KEH-sef שְׁקָלִ֣ים and sheh-ka-LEEM אַרְבָּעִ֔ים had ar-ba-EEM גַּ֥ם taken ɡahm נַֽעֲרֵיהֶ֖ם of na-uh-ray-HEM שָֽׁלְט֣וּ them sha-leh-TOO עַל bread al הָעָ֑ם and ha-AM וַֽאֲנִי֙ wine, va-uh-NEE לֹֽא beside loh עָשִׂ֣יתִי forty ah-SEE-tee כֵ֔ן shekels hane מִפְּנֵ֖י of mee-peh-NAY יִרְאַ֥ת silver; yeer-AT אֱלֹהִֽים׃ yea, ay-loh-HEEM -
וְ֠גַם also VEH-ɡahm בִּמְלֶ֜אכֶת I beem-LEH-het הַֽחוֹמָ֤ה continued ha-hoh-MA הַזֹּאת֙ in ha-ZOTE הֶֽחֱזַ֔קְתִּי the heh-hay-ZAHK-tee וְשָׂדֶ֖ה work veh-sa-DEH לֹ֣א of loh קָנִ֑ינוּ this ka-NEE-noo וְכָל wall, veh-HAHL נְעָרַ֔י neither neh-ah-RAI קְבוּצִ֥ים bought keh-voo-TSEEM שָׁ֖ם we shahm עַל any al הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃ land: ha-meh-la-HA -
וְהַיְּהוּדִ֨ים there veh-ha-yeh-hoo-DEEM וְהַסְּגָנִ֜ים were veh-ha-seh-ɡa-NEEM מֵאָ֧ה at may-AH וַֽחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים my va-huh-mee-SHEEM אִ֗ישׁ table eesh וְהַבָּאִ֥ים an veh-ha-ba-EEM אֵלֵ֛ינוּ hundred ay-LAY-noo מִן and meen הַגּוֹיִ֥ם fifty ha-ɡoh-YEEM אֲשֶׁר uh-SHER סְבִֽיבֹתֵ֖ינוּ of seh-vee-voh-TAY-noo עַל the al שֻׁלְחָנִֽי׃ Jews shool-ha-NEE -
