וַיְהִ֞י it vai-HEE כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֧ר came ka-uh-SHER שָׁמַ֣ע to sha-MA סַנְבַלַּ֗ט pass, sahn-va-LAHT כִּֽי that kee אֲנַ֤חְנוּ when uh-NAHK-noo בוֹנִים֙ Sanballat voh-NEEM אֶת heard et הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה that HA-hoh-MA וַיִּ֣חַר we va-YEE-hahr ל֔וֹ builded loh וַיִּכְעַ֖ס va-yeek-AS הַרְבֵּ֑ה the hahr-BAY וַיַּלְעֵ֖ג wall, va-yahl-AɡE עַל he al הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃ was ha-yeh-hoo-DEEM -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר׀ he va-YOH-mer לִפְנֵ֣י spake leef-NAY אֶחָ֗יו before eh-HAV וְחֵיל֙ his veh-HALE שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן brethren shoh-meh-RONE וַיֹּ֕אמֶר and va-YOH-mer מָ֛ה the ma הַיְּהוּדִ֥ים army ha-yeh-hoo-DEEM הָאֲמֵֽלָלִ֖ים of ha-uh-may-la-LEEM עֹשִׂ֑ים Samaria, oh-SEEM הֲיַֽעַזְב֨וּ and huh-ya-az-VOO לָהֶ֤ם said, la-HEM הֲיִזְבָּ֙חוּ֙ What huh-yeez-BA-HOO הַיְכַלּ֣וּ do hai-HA-loo בַיּ֔וֹם these VA-yome הַיְחַיּ֧וּ feeble hai-HA-yoo אֶת Jews? et הָֽאֲבָנִ֛ים will ha-uh-va-NEEM מֵֽעֲרֵמ֥וֹת they may-uh-ray-MOTE הֶֽעָפָ֖ר fortify heh-ah-FAHR וְהֵ֥מָּה themselves? veh-HAY-ma שְׂרוּפֽוֹת׃ will seh-roo-FOTE -
וְטֽוֹבִיָּ֥ה Tobiah veh-toh-vee-YA הָֽעַמֹּנִ֖י the ha-ah-moh-NEE אֶצְל֑וֹ Ammonite ets-LOH וַיֹּ֗אמֶר was va-YOH-mer גַּ֚ם by ɡahm אֲשֶׁר him, uh-SHER הֵ֣ם and hame בּוֹנִ֔ים he boh-NEEM אִם said, eem יַֽעֲלֶ֣ה Even ya-uh-LEH שׁוּעָ֔ל that shoo-AL וּפָרַ֖ץ which oo-fa-RAHTS חוֹמַ֥ת they hoh-MAHT אַבְנֵיהֶֽם׃ build, av-nay-HEM -
שְׁמַ֤ע O sheh-MA אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ our ay-loh-HAY-NOO כִּֽי God; kee הָיִ֣ינוּ for ha-YEE-noo בוּזָ֔ה we voo-ZA וְהָשֵׁ֥ב are veh-ha-SHAVE חֶרְפָּתָ֖ם despised: her-pa-TAHM אֶל and el רֹאשָׁ֑ם turn roh-SHAHM וּתְנֵ֥ם their oo-teh-NAME לְבִזָּ֖ה reproach leh-vee-ZA בְּאֶ֥רֶץ upon beh-EH-rets שִׁבְיָֽה׃ their sheev-YA -
וְאַל cover veh-AL תְּכַס֙ teh-HAHS עַל not al עֲוֹנָ֔ם their uh-oh-NAHM וְחַטָּאתָ֖ם iniquity, veh-ha-ta-TAHM מִלְּפָנֶ֣יךָ and mee-leh-fa-NAY-ha אַל let al תִּמָּחֶ֑ה not tee-ma-HEH כִּ֥י their kee הִכְעִ֖יסוּ sin heek-EE-soo לְנֶ֥גֶד be leh-NEH-ɡed הַבּוֹנִֽים׃ blotted ha-boh-NEEM -
וַנִּבְנֶה֙ built va-neev-NEH אֶת we et הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה HA-hoh-MA וַתִּקָּשֵׁ֥ר the va-tee-ka-SHARE כָּל wall; kahl הַֽחוֹמָ֖ה and ha-hoh-MA עַד all ad חֶצְיָ֑הּ the hets-YA וַיְהִ֧י wall vai-HEE לֵ֦ב was lave לָעָ֖ם joined la-AM לַֽעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ together LA-uh-SOTE -
וַיְהִ֣י it vai-HEE כַֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר came ha-uh-SHER שָׁמַ֣ע to sha-MA סַנְבַלַּ֡ט pass, sahn-va-LAHT וְ֠טֽוֹבִיָּה that VEH-toh-vee-ya וְהָֽעַרְבִ֨ים when veh-ha-ar-VEEM וְהָֽעַמֹּנִ֜ים Sanballat, veh-ha-ah-moh-NEEM וְהָֽאַשְׁדּוֹדִ֗ים and veh-ha-ash-doh-DEEM כִּֽי Tobiah, kee עָלְתָ֤ה and ole-TA אֲרוּכָה֙ the uh-roo-HA לְחֹמ֣וֹת Arabians, leh-hoh-MOTE יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם and yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM כִּֽי the kee הֵחֵ֥לּוּ Ammonites, hay-HAY-loo הַפְּרֻצִ֖ים and ha-peh-roo-TSEEM לְהִסָּתֵ֑ם the leh-hee-sa-TAME וַיִּ֥חַר Ashdodites, va-YEE-hahr לָהֶ֖ם heard la-HEM מְאֹֽד׃ that meh-ODE -
וַיִּקְשְׁר֤וּ conspired va-yeek-sheh-ROO כֻלָּם֙ all hoo-LAHM יַחְדָּ֔ו of yahk-DAHV לָב֖וֹא them la-VOH לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם together leh-hee-la-HAME בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם to bee-roo-sha-la-EEM וְלַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת come veh-la-uh-SOTE ל֖וֹ and loh תּוֹעָֽה׃ to toh-AH -
וַנִּתְפַּלֵּ֖ל we va-neet-pa-LALE אֶל made el אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ our ay-loh-HAY-noo וַנַּֽעֲמִ֨יד prayer va-na-uh-MEED מִשְׁמָ֧ר unto meesh-MAHR עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם our uh-lay-HEM יוֹמָ֥ם God, yoh-MAHM וָלַ֖יְלָה and va-LA-la מִפְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ set mee-peh-nay-HEM -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Judah va-YOH-mer יְהוּדָ֗ה said, yeh-hoo-DA כָּשַׁל֙ The ka-SHAHL כֹּ֣חַ strength KOH-ak הַסַּבָּ֔ל of ha-sa-BAHL וְהֶֽעָפָ֖ר the veh-heh-ah-FAHR הַרְבֵּ֑ה bearers hahr-BAY וַֽאֲנַ֙חְנוּ֙ of va-uh-NAHK-NOO לֹ֣א burdens loh נוּכַ֔ל is noo-HAHL לִבְנ֖וֹת decayed, leev-NOTE בַּֽחוֹמָֽה׃ and BA-hoh-MA -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ our va-yoh-meh-ROO צָרֵ֗ינוּ adversaries tsa-RAY-noo לֹ֤א said, loh יֵֽדְעוּ֙ They yay-deh-OO וְלֹ֣א shall veh-LOH יִרְא֔וּ not yeer-OO עַ֛ד know, ad אֲשֶׁר neither uh-SHER נָב֥וֹא see, na-VOH אֶל till el תּוֹכָ֖ם toh-HAHM וַֽהֲרַגְנ֑וּם we va-huh-rahɡ-NOOM וְהִשְׁבַּ֖תְנוּ come veh-heesh-BAHT-noo אֶת in et הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃ the ha-meh-la-HA -
וַֽיְהִי֙ it va-HEE כַּֽאֲשֶׁר came KA-uh-sher בָּ֣אוּ to BA-oo הַיְּהוּדִ֔ים pass, ha-yeh-hoo-DEEM הַיֹּֽשְׁבִ֖ים that ha-yoh-sheh-VEEM אֶצְלָ֑ם when ets-LAHM וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ the va-YOH-meh-roo לָ֙נוּ֙ Jews LA-NOO עֶ֣שֶׂר which EH-ser פְּעָמִ֔ים dwelt peh-ah-MEEM מִכָּל by mee-KAHL הַמְּקֹמ֖וֹת them ha-meh-koh-MOTE אֲשֶׁר came, uh-SHER תָּשׁ֥וּבוּ they ta-SHOO-voo עָלֵֽינוּ׃ said ah-LAY-noo -
וָֽאַעֲמִ֞יד set va-ah-uh-MEED מִֽתַּחְתִּיּ֧וֹת I mee-tahk-TEE-yote לַמָּק֛וֹם in la-ma-KOME מֵאַֽחֲרֵ֥י the may-ah-huh-RAY לַֽחוֹמָ֖ה lower la-hoh-MA בַּצְּחִחִ֑יים places ba-tseh-hee-HEE-m וָֽאַעֲמִ֤יד behind va-ah-uh-MEED אֶת the et הָעָם֙ wall, ha-AM לְמִשְׁפָּח֔וֹת and leh-meesh-pa-HOTE עִם on eem חַרְבֹֽתֵיהֶ֛ם the hahr-voh-tay-HEM רָמְחֵיהֶ֖ם higher rome-hay-HEM וְקַשְּׁתֹֽתֵיהֶֽם׃ places, veh-ka-sheh-TOH-tay-HEM -
וָאֵ֣רֶא I va-A-reh וָֽאָק֗וּם looked, va-ah-KOOM וָֽאֹמַ֞ר and va-oh-MAHR אֶל rose el הַֽחֹרִ֤ים up, ha-hoh-REEM וְאֶל and veh-EL הַסְּגָנִים֙ said ha-seh-ɡa-NEEM וְאֶל unto veh-EL יֶ֣תֶר the YEH-ter הָעָ֔ם nobles, ha-AM אַל and al תִּֽירְא֖וּ to tee-reh-OO מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם the mee-peh-nay-HEM אֶת rulers, et אֲדֹנָ֞י and uh-doh-NAI הַגָּד֤וֹל to ha-ɡa-DOLE וְהַנּוֹרָא֙ the veh-ha-noh-RA זְכֹ֔רוּ rest zeh-HOH-roo וְהִֽלָּחֲמ֗וּ of veh-hee-la-huh-MOO עַל the al אֲחֵיכֶם֙ people, uh-hay-HEM בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם Be beh-nay-HEM וּבְנֹֽתֵיכֶ֔ם not oo-veh-noh-tay-HEM נְשֵׁיכֶ֖ם ye neh-shay-HEM וּבָֽתֵּיכֶֽם׃ afraid oo-VA-tay-HEM -
וַיְהִ֞י it vai-HEE כַּֽאֲשֶׁר came KA-uh-sher שָׁמְע֤וּ to shome-OO אֽוֹיְבֵ֙ינוּ֙ pass, oy-VAY-NOO כִּי when kee נ֣וֹדַֽע our NOH-da לָ֔נוּ enemies LA-noo וַיָּ֥פֶר heard va-YA-fer הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים that ha-ay-loh-HEEM אֶת it et עֲצָתָ֑ם was uh-tsa-TAHM וַנָּ֤שָׁוב known va-NA-shove-v כֻּלָּ֙נוּ֙ unto koo-LA-NOO אֶל us, el הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה and HA-hoh-MA אִ֖ישׁ God eesh אֶל had el מְלַאכְתּֽוֹ׃ brought meh-lahk-TOH -
וַיְהִ֣י׀ it vai-HEE מִן came meen הַיּ֣וֹם to HA-yome הַה֗וּא pass ha-HOO חֲצִ֣י from huh-TSEE נְעָרַי֮ that neh-ah-RA עֹשִׂ֣ים time oh-SEEM בַּמְּלָאכָה֒ forth, ba-meh-la-HA וְחֶצְיָ֗ם that veh-hets-YAHM מַֽחֲזִיקִים֙ the ma-huh-zee-KEEM וְהָֽרְמָחִ֣ים half veh-ha-reh-ma-HEEM הַמָּֽגִנִּ֔ים of ha-ma-ɡee-NEEM וְהַקְּשָׁת֖וֹת my veh-ha-keh-sha-TOTE וְהַשִּׁרְיֹנִ֑ים servants veh-ha-sheer-yoh-NEEM וְהַ֨שָּׂרִ֔ים wrought veh-HA-sa-REEM אַֽחֲרֵ֖י in ah-huh-RAY כָּל the kahl בֵּ֥ית work, bate יְהוּדָֽה׃ and yeh-hoo-DA -
הַבּוֹנִ֧ים which ha-boh-NEEM בַּֽחוֹמָ֛ה builded ba-hoh-MA וְהַנֹּֽשְׂאִ֥ים on veh-ha-noh-seh-EEM בַּסֶּ֖בֶל the ba-SEH-vel עֹֽמְשִׂ֑ים wall, oh-meh-SEEM בְּאַחַ֤ת and beh-ah-HAHT יָדוֹ֙ they ya-DOH עֹשֶׂ֣ה that oh-SEH בַמְּלָאכָ֔ה bare va-meh-la-HA וְאַחַ֖ת burdens, veh-ah-HAHT מַֽחֲזֶ֥קֶת with ma-huh-ZEH-ket הַשָּֽׁלַח׃ those ha-SHA-lahk -

בִּמְק֗וֹם what beem-KOME אֲשֶׁ֤ר place uh-SHER תִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ therefore teesh-meh-OO אֶת ye et ק֣וֹל hear kole הַשּׁוֹפָ֔ר ha-shoh-FAHR שָׁ֖מָּה the SHA-ma תִּקָּֽבְצ֣וּ sound tee-ka-veh-TSOO אֵלֵ֑ינוּ of ay-LAY-noo אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ the ay-loh-HAY-noo יִלָּ֥חֶם trumpet, yee-LA-hem לָֽנוּ׃ resort la-NOO -
וַֽאֲנַ֖חְנוּ we va-uh-NAHK-noo עֹשִׂ֣ים laboured oh-SEEM בַּמְּלָאכָ֑ה in ba-meh-la-HA וְחֶצְיָ֗ם the veh-hets-YAHM מַֽחֲזִיקִים֙ work: ma-huh-zee-KEEM בָּֽרְמָחִ֔ים and ba-reh-ma-HEEM מֵֽעֲל֣וֹת half may-uh-LOTE הַשַּׁ֔חַר of ha-SHA-hahr עַ֖ד them ad צֵ֥את held tsate הַכּֽוֹכָבִֽים׃ the ha-koh-ha-VEEM -
