இஸ்ரவேல் தெறிப்பட்டுப்போன ஆடு, சிங்கங்கள் அதைத் துரத்தின; முதலில் அசீரியா ராஜா அதைப் பட்சித்தான்; கடைசியில் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய இந்த நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் அதின் எலும்புகளை முறித்தான்.

“நாடு முழுவதும் சிதறி இருக்கிற மந்தையைப்போன்று இஸ்ரவேல் சிதறி இருக்கிறது. இஸ்ரவேல் சிங்கங்களால் துரத்தப்படுகின்ற ஆடுபோன்று உள்ளது. அசீரியா அரசன் தாக்குவது முதல் சிங்கம் தாக்குவது போன்றது. பாபிலோன் அரசன் நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் கடைசி சிங்கத்தைப்போன்று தாக்கி அதன் எலும்புகளை நொறுக்குவான்.
