நான் வானத்தை நிலைப்படுத்தி, பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, சீயோனை நோக்கி: நீ என் ஜனமென்று சொல்வதற்காக, நான் என் வார்த்தையை உன் வாயிலே அருளி, என் கரத்தின் நிழலினால் உன்னை மறைக்கிறேன்.

“எனது தாசனே! நீ சொல்லுவதற்குரிய வார்த்தைகளை நான் உனக்குத் தருவேன். நான் எனது கைகளால் உன்னை மூடி பாதுகாப்பேன். நான் புதிய வானத்தையும், புதிய பூமியையும் படைக்க உன்னைப் பயன்படுத்துவேன். நான் உன்னைப் பயன்படுத்தி இஸ்ரவேலரிடம், ‘நீங்கள் எனது ஜனங்கள்’ என்று சொல்லுவேன்”.

in thy mouth, בְּפִ֔יךָ pe peh
thee in the shadow וּבְצֵ֥ל ṣēl tsale
of mine hand, יָדִ֖י yād yahd
and I have covered כִּסִּיתִ֑יךָ kāsâ ka-SA
that I may plant לִנְטֹ֤עַ nāṭaʿ na-TA
the heavens, שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ šāmayim sha-ma-YEEM
and lay the foundations וְלִיסֹ֣ד yāsad ya-SAHD
of the earth, אָ֔רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
and say וְלֵאמֹ֥ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
unto Zion, לְצִיּ֖וֹן ṣiyyôn tsee-YONE
my people. עַמִּי ʿam am
