Isaiah 51:16
મેં આકાશને વિસ્તાર્યું છે અને પૃથ્વીનો પાયો નાખ્યો છે અને સિયોનના લોકોને કહ્યું છે કે, તમે મારી પ્રજા છો. મેં તમારા મોઢામાં મારી વાણી મૂકી છે અને મારા બાહુની છાયામાં તમને આશ્રય આપ્યો છે.”

| shadow the in thee | יָדִ֖י | yādî | ya-DEE |
| of mine hand, | כִּסִּיתִ֑יךָ | kissîtîkā | kee-see-TEE-ha |
| plant may I that | לִנְטֹ֤עַ | linṭōaʿ | leen-TOH-ah |
| the heavens, | שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ | šāmayim | sha-MA-YEEM |
| and lay the foundations | וְלִיסֹ֣ד | wĕlîsōd | veh-lee-SODE |
| earth, the of | אָ֔רֶץ | ʾāreṣ | AH-rets |
| and say | וְלֵאמֹ֥ר | wĕlēʾmōr | veh-lay-MORE |
| unto Zion, | לְצִיּ֖וֹן | lĕṣiyyôn | leh-TSEE-yone |
| Thou | עַמִּי | ʿammî | ah-MEE |
| art my people. | אָֽתָּה׃ | ʾāttâ | AH-ta |
