וַיֹּסִ֙יפוּ֙ the va-yoh-SEE-FOO בְּנֵ֣י children beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE לַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת Israel la-uh-SOTE הָרַ֖ע did ha-RA בְּעֵינֵ֣י evil beh-ay-NAY יְהוָ֑ה again yeh-VA וַיִּתְּנֵ֧ם in va-yee-teh-NAME יְהוָ֛ה the yeh-VA בְּיַד sight beh-YAHD פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים of peh-leesh-TEEM אַרְבָּעִ֥ים the ar-ba-EEM שָׁנָֽה׃ Lord; sha-NA -
וַיְהִי֩ there vai-HEE אִ֨ישׁ was eesh אֶחָ֧ד a eh-HAHD מִצָּרְעָ֛ה certain mee-tsore-AH מִמִּשְׁפַּ֥חַת man mee-meesh-PA-haht הַדָּנִ֖י of ha-da-NEE וּשְׁמ֣וֹ Zorah, oo-sheh-MOH מָנ֑וֹחַ of ma-NOH-ak וְאִשְׁתּ֥וֹ the veh-eesh-TOH עֲקָרָ֖ה family uh-ka-RA וְלֹ֥א of veh-LOH יָלָֽדָה׃ the ya-LA-da -
וַיֵּרָ֥א the va-yay-RA מַלְאַךְ angel mahl-AK יְהוָ֖ה of yeh-VA אֶל the el הָֽאִשָּׁ֑ה Lord ha-ee-SHA וַיֹּ֣אמֶר appeared va-YOH-mer אֵלֶ֗יהָ unto ay-LAY-ha הִנֵּה the hee-NAY נָ֤א woman, na אַתְּ and at עֲקָרָה֙ said uh-ka-RA וְלֹ֣א unto veh-LOH יָלַ֔דְתְּ her, ya-LA-det וְהָרִ֖ית Behold veh-ha-REET וְיָלַ֥דְתְּ now, veh-ya-LA-det בֵּֽן׃ thou bane -
וְעַתָּה֙ therefore veh-ah-TA הִשָּׁ֣מְרִי beware, hee-SHA-meh-ree נָ֔א I na וְאַל pray veh-AL תִּשְׁתִּ֖י thee, teesh-TEE יַ֣יִן and YA-yeen וְשֵׁכָ֑ר drink veh-shay-HAHR וְאַל not veh-AL תֹּֽאכְלִ֖י wine toh-heh-LEE כָּל nor kahl טָמֵֽא׃ strong ta-MAY -
כִּי֩ lo, kee הִנָּ֨ךְ thou hee-NAHK הָרָ֜ה shalt ha-RA וְיֹלַ֣דְתְּ conceive, veh-yoh-LA-det בֵּ֗ן and bane וּמוֹרָה֙ bear oo-moh-RA לֹֽא a loh יַעֲלֶ֣ה son; ya-uh-LEH עַל and al רֹאשׁ֔וֹ no roh-SHOH כִּֽי razor kee נְזִ֧יר shall neh-ZEER אֱלֹהִ֛ים come ay-loh-HEEM יִֽהְיֶ֥ה on yee-heh-YEH הַנַּ֖עַר his ha-NA-ar מִן head: meen הַבָּ֑טֶן for ha-BA-ten וְה֗וּא the veh-HOO יָחֵ֛ל child ya-HALE לְהוֹשִׁ֥יעַ shall leh-hoh-SHEE-ah אֶת be et יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל a yees-ra-ALE מִיַּ֥ד Nazarite mee-YAHD פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ unto peh-leesh-TEEM -
וַתָּבֹ֣א the va-ta-VOH הָֽאִשָּׁ֗ה woman ha-ee-SHA וַתֹּ֣אמֶר came va-TOH-mer לְאִישָׁהּ֮ and leh-ee-SHA לֵאמֹר֒ told lay-MORE אִ֤ישׁ her eesh הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ husband, ha-ay-loh-HEEM בָּ֣א saying, ba אֵלַ֔י A ay-LAI וּמַרְאֵ֕הוּ man oo-mahr-A-hoo כְּמַרְאֵ֛ה of keh-mahr-A מַלְאַ֥ךְ God mahl-AK הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים came ha-ay-loh-HEEM נוֹרָ֣א unto noh-RA מְאֹ֑ד me, meh-ODE וְלֹ֤א and veh-LOH שְׁאִלְתִּ֙יהוּ֙ his sheh-eel-TEE-HOO אֵֽי countenance ay מִזֶּ֣ה was mee-ZEH ה֔וּא like hoo וְאֶת the veh-ET שְׁמ֖וֹ countenance sheh-MOH לֹֽא of loh הִגִּ֥יד an hee-ɡEED לִֽי׃ angel lee -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer לִ֔י said lee הִנָּ֥ךְ unto hee-NAHK הָרָ֖ה me, ha-RA וְיֹלַ֣דְתְּ Behold, veh-yoh-LA-det בֵּ֑ן thou bane וְעַתָּ֞ה shalt veh-ah-TA אַל conceive, al תִּשְׁתִּ֣י׀ and teesh-TEE יַ֣יִן bear YA-yeen וְשֵׁכָ֗ר a veh-shay-HAHR וְאַל son; veh-AL תֹּֽאכְלִי֙ and toh-heh-LEE כָּל now kahl טֻמְאָ֔ה drink toom-AH כִּֽי no kee נְזִ֤יר wine neh-ZEER אֱלֹהִים֙ nor ay-loh-HEEM יִֽהְיֶ֣ה strong yee-heh-YEH הַנַּ֔עַר drink, ha-NA-ar מִן neither meen הַבֶּ֖טֶן eat ha-BEH-ten עַד any ad י֥וֹם unclean yome מוֹתֽוֹ׃ thing: moh-TOH -
וַיֶּעְתַּ֥ר Manoah va-yeh-TAHR מָנ֛וֹחַ intreated ma-NOH-ak אֶל el יְהוָ֖ה the yeh-VA וַיֹּאמַ֑ר Lord, va-yoh-MAHR בִּ֣י and bee אֲדוֹנָ֔י said, uh-doh-NAI אִ֣ישׁ O eesh הָֽאֱלֹהִ֞ים my ha-ay-loh-HEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר Lord, uh-SHER שָׁלַ֗חְתָּ let sha-LAHK-ta יָבוֹא the ya-VOH נָ֥א man na עוֹד֙ of ode אֵלֵ֔ינוּ God ay-LAY-noo וְיוֹרֵ֕נוּ which veh-yoh-RAY-noo מַֽה thou ma נַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה didst na-uh-SEH לַנַּ֥עַר send la-NA-ar הַיּוּלָּֽד׃ come ha-yoo-LAHD -
וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע God va-yeesh-MA הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים hearkened ha-ay-loh-HEEM בְּק֣וֹל to beh-KOLE מָנ֑וֹחַ the ma-NOH-ak וַיָּבֹ֣א voice va-ya-VOH מַלְאַךְ֩ of mahl-ak הָֽאֱלֹהִ֨ים Manoah; ha-ay-loh-HEEM ע֜וֹד and ode אֶל the el הָֽאִשָּׁ֗ה angel ha-ee-SHA וְהִיא֙ of veh-HEE יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת God yoh-SHEH-vet בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה came ba-sa-DEH וּמָנ֥וֹחַ again oo-ma-NOH-ak אִישָׁ֖הּ ee-SHA אֵ֥ין unto ane עִמָּֽהּ׃ the ee-MA -
וַתְּמַהֵר֙ the va-teh-ma-HARE הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה woman ha-ee-SHA וַתָּ֖רָץ made va-TA-rohts וַתַּגֵּ֣ד haste, va-ta-ɡADE לְאִישָׁ֑הּ and leh-ee-SHA וַתֹּ֣אמֶר ran, va-TOH-mer אֵלָ֔יו and ay-LAV הִנֵּ֨ה shewed hee-NAY נִרְאָ֤ה her neer-AH אֵלַי֙ husband, ay-LA הָאִ֔ישׁ and ha-EESH אֲשֶׁר said uh-SHER בָּ֥א unto ba בַיּ֖וֹם him, VA-yome אֵלָֽי׃ Behold, ay-LAI -
וַיָּ֛קָם Manoah va-YA-kome וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ arose, va-YAY-lek מָנ֖וֹחַ and ma-NOH-ak אַֽחֲרֵ֣י went ah-huh-RAY אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ after eesh-TOH וַיָּבֹא֙ his va-ya-VOH אֶל wife, el הָאִ֔ישׁ and ha-EESH וַיֹּ֣אמֶר came va-YOH-mer ל֗וֹ to loh הַֽאַתָּ֥ה the ha-ah-TA הָאִ֛ישׁ man, ha-EESH אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER דִּבַּ֥רְתָּ said dee-BAHR-ta אֶל unto el הָֽאִשָּׁ֖ה him, ha-ee-SHA וַיֹּ֥אמֶר Art va-YOH-mer אָֽנִי׃ thou AH-nee -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Manoah va-YOH-mer מָנ֔וֹחַ said, ma-NOH-ak עַתָּ֖ה Now ah-TA יָבֹ֣א let ya-VOH דְבָרֶ֑יךָ thy deh-va-RAY-ha מַה words ma יִּֽהְיֶ֥ה come yee-heh-YEH מִשְׁפַּט to meesh-PAHT הַנַּ֖עַר pass. ha-NA-ar וּמַֽעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃ How oo-MA-uh-SAY-hoo -
וַיֹּ֛אמֶר the va-YOH-mer מַלְאַ֥ךְ angel mahl-AK יְהוָ֖ה of yeh-VA אֶל the el מָנ֑וֹחַ Lord ma-NOH-ak מִכֹּ֛ל said mee-KOLE אֲשֶׁר unto uh-SHER אָמַ֥רְתִּי Manoah, ah-MAHR-tee אֶל Of el הָֽאִשָּׁ֖ה all ha-ee-SHA תִּשָּׁמֵֽר׃ that tee-sha-MARE -
מִכֹּ֣ל may mee-KOLE אֲשֶׁר not uh-SHER יֵצֵא֩ eat yay-TSAY מִגֶּ֨פֶן of mee-ɡEH-fen הַיַּ֜יִן any ha-YA-yeen לֹ֣א thing loh תֹאכַ֗ל that toh-HAHL וְיַ֤יִן cometh veh-YA-yeen וְשֵׁכָר֙ of veh-shay-HAHR אַל the al תֵּ֔שְׁתְּ vine, TAY-shet וְכָל neither veh-HAHL טֻמְאָ֖ה let toom-AH אַל her al תֹּאכַ֑ל drink toh-HAHL כֹּ֥ל wine kole אֲשֶׁר or uh-SHER צִוִּיתִ֖יהָ strong tsee-wee-TEE-ha תִּשְׁמֹֽר׃ drink, teesh-MORE -
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר Manoah va-YOH-mer מָנ֖וֹחַ said ma-NOH-ak אֶל unto el מַלְאַ֣ךְ the mahl-AK יְהוָ֑ה angel yeh-VA נַעְצְרָה of na-tseh-RA נָּ֣א the na אוֹתָ֔ךְ Lord, oh-TAHK וְנַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה I veh-na-uh-SEH לְפָנֶ֖יךָ pray leh-fa-NAY-ha גְּדִ֥י thee, ɡeh-DEE עִזִּֽים׃ let ee-ZEEM -
וַיֹּאמֶר֩ the va-yoh-MER מַלְאַ֨ךְ angel mahl-AK יְהוָ֜ה of yeh-VA אֶל the el מָנ֗וֹחַ Lord ma-NOH-ak אִם said eem תַּעְצְרֵ֙נִי֙ unto ta-tseh-RAY-NEE לֹֽא Manoah, loh אֹכַ֣ל Though oh-HAHL בְּלַחְמֶ֔ךָ thou beh-lahk-MEH-ha וְאִם detain veh-EEM תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֣ה me, ta-uh-SEH עֹלָ֔ה I oh-LA לַֽיהוָ֖ה will lai-VA תַּֽעֲלֶ֑נָּה not ta-uh-LEH-na כִּ֚י eat kee לֹֽא of loh יָדַ֣ע thy ya-DA מָנ֔וֹחַ bread: ma-NOH-ak כִּֽי and kee מַלְאַ֥ךְ if mahl-AK יְהוָ֖ה thou yeh-VA הֽוּא׃ wilt hoo -
וַיֹּ֧אמֶר Manoah va-YOH-mer מָנ֛וֹחַ said ma-NOH-ak אֶל unto el מַלְאַ֥ךְ the mahl-AK יְהוָ֖ה angel yeh-VA מִ֣י of mee שְׁמֶ֑ךָ the sheh-MEH-ha כִּֽי Lord, kee יָבֹ֥א What ya-VOH דְבָֽרְיךָ֖ is deh-va-reh-HA וְכִבַּדְנֽוּךָ׃ thy veh-hee-bahd-NOO-ha -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר the va-YOH-mer לוֹ֙ angel loh מַלְאַ֣ךְ of mahl-AK יְהוָ֔ה the yeh-VA לָ֥מָּה Lord LA-ma זֶּ֖ה said zeh תִּשְׁאַ֣ל unto teesh-AL לִשְׁמִ֑י him, leesh-MEE וְהוּא Why veh-HOO פֶֽלִאי׃ askest FEH-lee -
וַיִּקַּ֨ח Manoah va-yee-KAHK מָנ֜וֹחַ took ma-NOH-ak אֶת et גְּדִ֤י a ɡeh-DEE הָֽעִזִּים֙ kid ha-ee-ZEEM וְאֶת veh-ET הַמִּנְחָ֔ה with ha-meen-HA וַיַּ֥עַל a va-YA-al עַל meat al הַצּ֖וּר offering, HA-tsoor לַֽיהוָ֑ה and lai-VA וּמַפְלִ֣א offered oo-mahf-LEE לַֽעֲשׂ֔וֹת it la-uh-SOTE וּמָנ֥וֹחַ upon oo-ma-NOH-ak וְאִשְׁתּ֖וֹ a veh-eesh-TOH רֹאִֽים׃ rock roh-EEM -
וַיְהִי֩ it vai-HEE בַֽעֲל֨וֹת came va-uh-LOTE הַלַּ֜הַב to ha-LA-hahv מֵעַ֤ל pass, may-AL הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ when ha-meez-BAY-HA הַשָּׁמַ֔יְמָה the ha-sha-MA-ma וַיַּ֥עַל flame va-YA-al מַלְאַךְ went mahl-AK יְהוָ֖ה up yeh-VA בְּלַ֣הַב toward beh-LA-hahv הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ heaven ha-meez-BAY-ak וּמָנ֤וֹחַ from oo-ma-NOH-ak וְאִשְׁתּוֹ֙ off veh-eesh-TOH רֹאִ֔ים the roh-EEM וַיִּפְּל֥וּ altar, va-yee-peh-LOO עַל that al פְּנֵיהֶ֖ם the peh-nay-HEM אָֽרְצָה׃ angel AH-reh-tsa -
וְלֹא the veh-LOH יָ֤סַף angel YA-sahf עוֹד֙ of ode מַלְאַ֣ךְ the mahl-AK יְהוָ֔ה Lord yeh-VA לְהֵֽרָאֹ֖ה did leh-hay-ra-OH אֶל no el מָנ֣וֹחַ more ma-NOH-ak וְאֶל appear veh-EL אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ to eesh-TOH אָ֚ז Manoah az יָדַ֣ע and ya-DA מָנ֔וֹחַ to ma-NOH-ak כִּֽי his kee מַלְאַ֥ךְ wife. mahl-AK יְהוָ֖ה Then yeh-VA הֽוּא׃ Manoah hoo -
וַיֹּ֧אמֶר Manoah va-YOH-mer מָנ֛וֹחַ said ma-NOH-ak אֶל unto el אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ his eesh-TOH מ֣וֹת wife, mote נָמ֑וּת We na-MOOT כִּ֥י shall kee אֱלֹהִ֖ים surely ay-loh-HEEM רָאִֽינוּ׃ die, ra-EE-noo -
וַתֹּ֧אמֶר his va-TOH-mer ל֣וֹ wife loh אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ said eesh-TOH לוּ֩ unto loo חָפֵ֨ץ him, ha-FAYTS יְהוָ֤ה If yeh-VA לַֽהֲמִיתֵ֙נוּ֙ the la-huh-mee-TAY-NOO לֹֽא Lord loh לָקַ֤ח were la-KAHK מִיָּדֵ֙נוּ֙ pleased mee-ya-DAY-NOO עֹלָ֣ה to oh-LA וּמִנְחָ֔ה kill oo-meen-HA וְלֹ֥א us, veh-LOH הֶרְאָ֖נוּ he her-AH-noo אֶת would et כָּל not kahl אֵ֑לֶּה have A-leh וְכָעֵ֕ת received veh-ha-ATE לֹ֥א a loh הִשְׁמִיעָ֖נוּ burnt heesh-mee-AH-noo כָּזֹֽאת׃ offering ka-ZOTE -
וַתֵּ֤לֶד the va-TAY-led הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ woman ha-ee-SHA בֵּ֔ן bare bane וַתִּקְרָ֥א a va-teek-RA אֶת son, et שְׁמ֖וֹ and sheh-MOH שִׁמְשׁ֑וֹן called sheem-SHONE וַיִּגְדַּ֣ל va-yeeɡ-DAHL הַנַּ֔עַר his ha-NA-ar וַֽיְבָרְכֵ֖הוּ name va-vore-HAY-hoo יְהוָֽה׃ Samson: yeh-VA -
