ଅରାମୀଯ ନେତାମାନେ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରାଜିତ କରିଅଛି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ଫରାତ୍ ନଦୀର ପୂର୍ବଆଡ଼େ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଅରାମୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ମାଗିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବାହକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କଲେ। ଶୋଫକ୍ ଅରାମରୁ ଆସିଥିବା ହଦ ରଷେରଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳର ସନୋପତି ଥିଲେ। ଶୋଫକ୍ ଅନ୍ୟ ଅରାମୀଯ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ପରିଚାଳିତ କରୁଥିଲେ।

ଅରାମୀଯ ନେତାମାନେ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରାଜିତ କରିଅଛି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ଫରାତ୍ ନଦୀର ପୂର୍ବଆଡ଼େ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଅରାମୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ମାଗିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବାହକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କଲେ। ଶୋଫକ୍ ଅରାମରୁ ଆସିଥିବା ହଦ ରଷେରଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳର ସନୋପତି ଥିଲେ। ଶୋଫକ୍ ଅନ୍ୟ ଅରାମୀଯ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ପରିଚାଳିତ କରୁଥିଲେ।
