Haggai 1:11
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କୁହନ୍ତି, ପର୍ବତ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହବୋକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଦେଶ ଦଲେୁ। ଶସ୍ଯ, ସଦ୍ଯ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ, ଅଲିଭ ତଲେ ଏବଂ ପୃଥିବୀ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କରୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଜିନିଷ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହାଇଯେିବ। ଏହି ମରୁଡି ମଧ୍ଯ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପଶୁ, ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶ୍ରମିକ ଉପ ରେ ପ୍ରଭାବ ପକାଇବ।

| the corn, | הַדָּגָן֙ | haddāgān | ha-da-ɡAHN |
| upon and | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| the new wine, | הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ | hattîrôš | ha-tee-ROHSH |
| and upon | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| oil, the | הַיִּצְהָ֔ר | hayyiṣhār | ha-yeets-HAHR |
| and upon | וְעַ֛ל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| that which | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| ground the | תּוֹצִ֖יא | tôṣîʾ | toh-TSEE |
| bringeth forth, | הָאֲדָמָ֑ה | hāʾădāmâ | ha-uh-da-MA |
| and upon | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| men, | הָֽאָדָם֙ | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| and upon | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| cattle, | הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה | habbĕhēmâ | ha-beh-hay-MA |
| and upon | וְעַ֖ל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the labour | יְגִ֥יעַ | yĕgîaʿ | yeh-ɡEE-ah |
| of the hands. | כַּפָּֽיִם׃ | kappāyim | ka-PA-yeem |
