ସହେି ସମୟରେ, ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦେଶ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ୟିହୁଦୀମାନେ ନିଜକୁ ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତି ଶାଳୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହେଲେ। ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଯ କରିପାରିଲେ। ୟିହୁଦୀଯମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର 75,000 ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ୟିହୁଦୀଯମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଧନ ଲୁଣ୍ଠନ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
