Leviticus 11:29
നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ഇഴജാതിയിൽനിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധമായവ ഇവ:

| that creep | בַּשֶּׁ֖רֶץ | baššereṣ | ba-SHEH-rets |
| upon | הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ | haššōrēṣ | ha-shoh-RAYTS |
| the earth; | עַל | ʿal | al |
| the weasel, | הָאָ֑רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| mouse, the and | הַחֹ֥לֶד | haḥōled | ha-HOH-led |
| and the tortoise | וְהָֽעַכְבָּ֖ר | wĕhāʿakbār | veh-ha-ak-BAHR |
| after his kind, | וְהַצָּ֥ב | wĕhaṣṣāb | veh-ha-TSAHV |
| לְמִינֵֽהוּ׃ | lĕmînēhû | leh-mee-nay-HOO |
