וָאֹמַ֕ר said va-oh-MAHR עַד I, ad מָתַ֖י Lord, ma-TAI אֲדֹנָ֑י how uh-doh-NAI וַיֹּ֡אמֶר long? va-YOH-mer עַ֣ד ad אֲשֶׁר֩ And uh-SHER אִם he eem שָׁא֨וּ answered, sha-OO עָרִ֜ים Until ah-REEM מֵאֵ֣ין may-ANE יוֹשֵׁ֗ב the yoh-SHAVE וּבָתִּים֙ cities oo-voh-TEEM מֵאֵ֣ין be may-ANE אָדָ֔ם wasted ah-DAHM וְהָאֲדָמָ֖ה without veh-ha-uh-da-MA תִּשָּׁאֶ֥ה inhabitant, tee-sha-EH שְׁמָמָֽה׃ and sheh-ma-MA
