Ecclesiastes 7:15
આ બધું મેં મારા જીવનનાં વ્યર્થપણામાં જોયું છે. કેટલાક સારા માણસો નેક પણું હોવા છતાં યુવાનવયે જ મૃત્યુ પામે છે, જ્યારે કેટલાંક દુષ્ટ લોકો દુષ્ટતામાં રાચીને પણ લાંબુ આયુષ્ય ભોગવે છે.

| in his righteousness, | בְּצִדְק֔וֹ | bĕṣidqô | beh-tseed-KOH |
| and there is | וְיֵ֣שׁ | wĕyēš | veh-YAYSH |
| wicked a | רָשָׁ֔ע | rāšāʿ | ra-SHA |
| man that prolongeth | מַאֲרִ֖יךְ | maʾărîk | ma-uh-REEK |
| his life in his wickedness. | בְּרָעָתֽוֹ׃ | bĕrāʿātô | beh-ra-ah-TOH |
