Job 24:20
તેની માતા તેને ભૂલી જશે. કીડો મગ્નથી તેનું ભક્ષણ કરી જશે, તેને કોઇ સંભારશે નહિ, દુરાચારી માણસ કોહવાયેલાં વૃક્ષની જેમ તૂટી પડે છે.

અત્યારે પણ કુહાડી વૃક્ષોના મૂળ પાસે તૈયાર જ પડી છે. દરેક વૃક્ષજે સારા ફળ આપતું નથી તેને કાપી નાંખશે, અને અગ્નિમાં ફેંકી દેશે.
