וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ אֶת ʾēt הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ an altar mizbēaḥ עֲצֵ֣י wood, ʿēṣ שִׁטִּ֑ים shittim šiṭṭâ חָמֵשׁ֩ five ḥāmēš אַמּ֨וֹת cubits ʾammâ אֹ֜רֶךְ long, ʾōrek וְחָמֵ֧שׁ and five ḥāmēš אַמּ֣וֹת cubits ʾammâ רֹ֗חַב broad; rōḥab רָב֤וּעַ foursquare: rābaʿ יִֽהְיֶה֙ shall be hāyâ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ the altar mizbēaḥ וְשָׁלֹ֥שׁ thereof three šālôš אַמּ֖וֹת cubits. ʾammâ קֹֽמָתֽוֹ׃ and the height qômâ

וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ קַרְנֹתָ֗יו the horns qeren עַ֚ל of it upon ʿal אַרְבַּ֣ע the four ʾarbaʿ פִּנֹּתָ֔יו corners pinnâ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ of min תִּֽהְיֶ֣יןָ shall be hāyâ קַרְנֹתָ֑יו thereof: his horns qeren וְצִפִּיתָ֥ the same: and thou shalt overlay ṣāpâ אֹת֖וֹ ʾēt נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ it with brass. nĕḥōšet

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ סִּֽירֹתָיו֙ his pans sîr לְדַשְּׁנ֔וֹ to receive his ashes, dāšēn וְיָעָיו֙ and his shovels, yāʿ וּמִזְרְקֹתָ֔יו and his basons, mizrāq וּמִזְלְגֹתָ֖יו and his fleshhooks, mazlēg וּמַחְתֹּתָ֑יו and his firepans: maḥtâ לְכָל all kōl כֵּלָ֖יו the vessels kĕlî תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה thereof thou shalt make ʿāśâ נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ brass. nĕḥōšet

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ לּוֹ֙ מִכְבָּ֔ר for it a grate makbēr מַֽעֲשֵׂ֖ה of network maʿăśe רֶ֣שֶׁת rešet נְחֹ֑שֶׁת brass; nĕḥōšet וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ shalt thou make ʿāśâ עַל and upon ʿal הָרֶ֗שֶׁת the net rešet אַרְבַּע֙ four ʾarbaʿ טַבְּעֹ֣ת rings ṭabbaʿat נְחֹ֔שֶׁת brasen nĕḥōšet עַ֖ל in ʿal אַרְבַּ֥ע the four ʾarbaʿ קְצוֹתָֽיו׃ corners thereof. qāṣâ

וְנָֽתַתָּ֣ה And thou shalt put nātan אֹתָ֗הּ ʾēt תַּ֛חַת it under taḥat כַּרְכֹּ֥ב the compass karkōb הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ of the altar mizbēaḥ מִלְּמָ֑טָּה beneath, maṭṭâ וְהָֽיְתָ֣ה may be hāyâ הָרֶ֔שֶׁת that the net rešet עַ֖ד even to ʿad חֲצִ֥י the midst ḥēṣî הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ of the altar. mizbēaḥ

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ בַדִּים֙ staves bad לַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ for the altar, mizbēaḥ בַּדֵּ֖י staves bad עֲצֵ֣י wood, ʿēṣ שִׁטִּ֑ים shittim šiṭṭâ וְצִפִּיתָ֥ and overlay ṣāpâ אֹתָ֖ם ʾēt נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ them with brass. nĕḥōšet

וְהוּבָ֥א shall be put bôʾ אֶת And ʾēt בַּדָּ֖יו the staves bad בַּטַּבָּעֹ֑ת into the rings, ṭabbaʿat וְהָי֣וּ shall be hāyâ הַבַּדִּ֗ים and the staves bad עַל upon ʿal שְׁתֵּ֛י the two šĕnayim צַלְעֹ֥ת sides ṣēlāʿ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ of the altar, mizbēaḥ בִּשְׂאֵ֥ת to bear it. nāśāʾ אֹתֽוֹ׃ ʾēt

נְב֥וּב Hollow nābab לֻחֹ֖ת with boards lûaḥ תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֣ה shalt thou make ʿāśâ אֹת֑וֹ ʾēt כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר it: as ʾăšer הֶרְאָ֥ה it was shewed rāʾâ אֹֽתְךָ֛ ʾēt בָּהָ֖ר thee in the mount, har כֵּ֥ן so kēn יַֽעֲשֽׂוּ׃ shall they make ʿāśâ

וְעָשִׂ֕יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ אֵ֖ת ʾēt חֲצַ֣ר the court ḥāṣēr הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן of the tabernacle: miškān לִפְאַ֣ת side pēʾâ נֶֽגֶב for the south negeb תֵּ֠ימָנָה southward têmān קְלָעִ֨ים hangings qelaʿ לֶֽחָצֵ֜ר for the court ḥāṣēr שֵׁ֣שׁ linen šēš מָשְׁזָ֗ר fine twined šāzar מֵאָ֤ה of an hundred mēʾâ בָֽאַמָּה֙ cubits ʾammâ אֹ֔רֶךְ long ʾōrek לַפֵּאָ֖ה side: pēʾâ הָֽאֶחָֽת׃ for one ʾeḥād

וְעַמֻּדָ֣יו pillars ʿammûd עֶשְׂרִ֔ים And the twenty ʿeśrîm וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֥ם sockets ʾeden עֶשְׂרִ֖ים thereof and their twenty ʿeśrîm נְחֹ֑שֶׁת brass; nĕḥōšet וָוֵ֧י the hooks wāw הָֽעַמֻּדִ֛ים of the pillars ʿammûd וַחֲשֻֽׁקֵיהֶ֖ם and their fillets ḥāšuq כָּֽסֶף׃ silver. kesep

וְכֵ֨ן And likewise kēn לִפְאַ֤ת side pēʾâ צָפוֹן֙ for the north ṣāpôn בָּאֹ֔רֶךְ in length ʾōrek קְלָעִ֖ים hangings qelaʿ מֵ֣אָה of an hundred mēʾâ אֹ֑רֶךְ long, ʾōrek וְעַמֻּדָ֣ו pillars ʿammûd עֶשְׂרִ֗ים and his twenty ʿeśrîm וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֤ם sockets ʾeden עֶשְׂרִים֙ and their twenty ʿeśrîm נְחֹ֔שֶׁת brass; nĕḥōšet וָוֵ֧י the hooks wāw הָֽעַמֻּדִ֛ים of the pillars ʿammûd וַחֲשֻֽׁקֵיהֶ֖ם and their fillets ḥāšuq כָּֽסֶף׃ silver. kesep

וְרֹ֤חַב And the breadth rōḥab הֶֽחָצֵר֙ of the court ḥāṣēr לִפְאַת side pēʾâ יָ֔ם on the west yām קְלָעִ֖ים hangings qelaʿ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים of fifty ḥămiššîm אַמָּ֑ה cubits: ʾammâ עַמֻּֽדֵיהֶ֣ם their pillars ʿammûd עֲשָׂרָ֔ה ten, ʿeśer וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם and their sockets ʾeden עֲשָׂרָֽה׃ ten. ʿeśer

וְרֹ֣חַב And the breadth rōḥab הֶֽחָצֵ֗ר of the court ḥāṣēr לִפְאַ֛ת side pēʾâ קֵ֥דְמָה on the east qedem מִזְרָ֖חָה eastward mizrāḥ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים fifty ḥămiššîm אַמָּֽה׃ cubits. ʾammâ

וַֽחֲמֵ֨שׁ fifteen ḥāmēš עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה ʿāśār אַמָּ֛ה cubits: ʾammâ קְלָעִ֖ים The hangings qelaʿ לַכָּתֵ֑ף of one side kātēp עַמֻּֽדֵיהֶ֣ם their pillars ʿammûd שְׁלֹשָׁ֔ה three, šālôš וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם and their sockets ʾeden שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃ three. šālôš

וְלַכָּתֵף֙ side kātēp הַשֵּׁנִ֔ית And on the other šēnî חְמֵ֥שׁ fifteen ḥāmēš עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה ʿāśār קְלָעִ֑ים hangings qelaʿ עַמֻּֽדֵיהֶ֣ם their pillars ʿammûd שְׁלֹשָׁ֔ה three, šālôš וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם and their sockets ʾeden שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃ three. šālôš

וּלְשַׁ֨עַר And for the gate šaʿar הֶֽחָצֵ֜ר of the court ḥāṣēr מָסָ֣ךְ׀ an hanging māsok עֶשְׂרִ֣ים of twenty ʿeśrîm אַמָּ֗ה cubits, ʾammâ תְּכֵ֨לֶת blue, tĕkēlet וְאַרְגָּמָ֜ן and purple, ʾargāmān וְתוֹלַ֧עַת tôlāʿ שָׁנִ֛י and scarlet, šānî וְשֵׁ֥שׁ linen, šēš מָשְׁזָ֖ר and fine twined šāzar מַֽעֲשֵׂ֣ה maʿăśe רֹקֵ֑ם wrought with needlework: rāqam עַמֻּֽדֵיהֶם֙ their pillars ʿammûd אַרְבָּעָ֔ה four, ʾarbaʿ וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם and their sockets ʾeden אַרְבָּעָֽה׃ four. ʾarbaʿ

כָּל All kōl עַמּוּדֵ֨י the pillars ʿammûd הֶֽחָצֵ֤ר the court ḥāṣēr סָבִיב֙ round about sābîb מְחֻשָּׁקִ֣ים filleted ḥāšaq כֶּ֔סֶף with silver; kesep וָֽוֵיהֶ֖ם their hooks wāw כָּ֑סֶף silver, kesep וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם and their sockets ʾeden נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ brass. nĕḥōšet

אֹ֣רֶךְ The length ʾōrek הֶֽחָצֵר֩ of the court ḥāṣēr מֵאָ֨ה an hundred mēʾâ בָֽאַמָּ֜ה cubits, ʾammâ וְרֹ֣חַב׀ and the breadth rōḥab חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים fifty ḥămiššîm בַּֽחֲמִשִּׁ֗ים every where, ḥămiššîm וְקֹמָ֛ה and the height qômâ חָמֵ֥שׁ five ḥāmēš אַמּ֖וֹת cubits ʾammâ שֵׁ֣שׁ linen, šēš מָשְׁזָ֑ר fine twined šāzar וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם and their sockets ʾeden נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ brass. nĕḥōšet

לְכֹל֙ All kōl כְּלֵ֣י the vessels kĕlî הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן of the tabernacle miškān בְּכֹ֖ל in all kōl עֲבֹֽדָת֑וֹ the service ʿăbōdâ וְכָל thereof, and all kōl יְתֵֽדֹתָ֛יו the pins yātēd וְכָל thereof, and all kōl יִתְדֹ֥ת the pins yātēd הֶֽחָצֵ֖ר of the court, ḥāṣēr נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ brass. nĕḥōšet

וְאַתָּ֞ה And thou ʾattâ תְּצַוֶּ֣ה׀ shalt command ṣāwâ אֶת ʾēt בְּנֵ֣י the children bēn יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel, yiśrāʾēl וְיִקְח֨וּ that they bring lāqaḥ אֵלֶ֜יךָ ʾēl שֶׁ֣מֶן oil šemen זַ֥יִת olive zayit זָ֛ךְ thee pure zak כָּתִ֖ית beaten kātît לַמָּא֑וֹר for the light, māʾôr לְהַֽעֲלֹ֥ת to burn ʿālâ נֵ֖ר to cause the lamp nîr תָּמִֽיד׃ always. tāmîd

בְּאֹ֣הֶל In the tabernacle ʾōhel מוֹעֵד֩ of the congregation môʿēd מִח֨וּץ without ḥûṣ לַפָּרֹ֜כֶת the vail, pōreket אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ʾăšer עַל before ʿal הָֽעֵדֻ֗ת the testimony, ʿēdût יַֽעֲרֹךְ֩ shall order ʿārak אֹת֨וֹ ʾēt אַֽהֲרֹ֧ן Aaron ʾahărôn וּבָנָ֛יו and his sons bēn מֵעֶ֥רֶב it from evening ʿereb עַד to ʿad בֹּ֖קֶר morning bōqer לִפְנֵ֣י before pānîm יְהוָ֑ה the Lord: yĕhōwâ חֻקַּ֤ת a statute ḥuqqâ עוֹלָם֙ for ever ʿôlām לְדֹ֣רֹתָ֔ם unto their generations dôr מֵאֵ֖ת on the behalf ʾēt בְּנֵ֥י of the children bēn יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel. yiśrāʾēl
