இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் வழியிலே நடந்து, கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தின ஜாதிகளுடைய அருவருப்புகளின்படியே தன் குமாரனை முதலாய்த் தீக்கடக்கப்பண்ணினான்.

of the kings מַלְכֵ֣י melek meh-LEK
of Israel, יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
yea, וְגַ֤ם gam ɡahm
and made אֶת ʾēt ate
his son בְּנוֹ֙ bēn bane
to pass through הֶֽעֱבִ֣יר ʿābar ah-VAHR
the fire, בָּאֵ֔שׁ ʾēš aysh
according to the abominations כְּתֹֽעֲבוֹת֙ tôʿēba toh-ay-VA
of the heathen, הַגּוֹיִ֔ם gôy ɡoy
whom אֲשֶׁ֨ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
