தூதன், “இப்பெண் பாவத்தின் பிரதிநிதியாய் இருக்கிறாள்” என்றான். பின்னர் தூதன் அப்பெண்ணை வாளிக்குள் தள்ளி, கனத்த மூடியினால் அதை மூடிப்போட்டான். இது பாவங்கள் மிகக் கனமானவை என்பதைக் காட்டும்.
