యెహోవా మేఘములో దిగి అతనితో మాటలాడి అతని మీద వచ్చిన ఆత్మలో పాలు ఆ డెబ్బదిమంది పెద్దలమీద ఉంచెను; కావున ఆ ఆత్మ వారిమీద నిలిచినప్పుడు వారు ప్రవచించిరి గాని మరల ప్రవచింపలేదు.

| him, and gave | וַיִּתֵּ֕ן | wayyittēn | va-yee-TANE |
| unto it | עַל | ʿal | al |
| the seventy | שִׁבְעִ֥ים | šibʿîm | sheev-EEM |
| elders: | אִ֖ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| הַזְּקֵנִ֑ים | hazzĕqēnîm | ha-zeh-kay-NEEM | |
| pass, to came it and | וַיְהִ֗י | wayhî | vai-HEE |
| spirit the when that, | כְּנ֤וֹחַ | kĕnôaḥ | keh-NOH-ak |
