ఆ సేనాధిపతి వారిని యోసేపు వశము చేయగా అతడు వారికి ఉపచారము చేసెను. వారు కొన్నిదినములు కావలిలో నుండినతరువాత

And the captain	וַ֠יִּפְקֹד	wayyipqōd	VA-yeef-kode
of the guard	שַׂ֣ר	śar	sahr
charged	הַטַּבָּחִ֧ים	haṭṭabbāḥîm	ha-ta-ba-HEEM
	אֶת	ʾet	et
Joseph	יוֹסֵ֛ף	yôsēp	yoh-SAFE
with	אִתָּ֖ם	ʾittām	ee-TAHM
served he and them,	וַיְשָׁ֣רֶת	wayšāret	vai-SHA-ret
continued they and them:	אֹתָ֑ם	ʾōtām	oh-TAHM
a season	וַיִּֽהְי֥וּ	wayyihĕyû	va-yee-heh-YOO
in ward.	יָמִ֖ים	yāmîm	ya-MEEM
	בְּמִשְׁמָֽר׃	bĕmišmār	beh-meesh-MAHR
