மத்தேயு 5
27 விபசாரஞ் செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக என்பது பூர்வத்தாருக்கு உரைக்கப்பட்டதென்று கேள்விப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்.
28 நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் ஒரு ஸ்திரீயை இச்சையோடு பார்க்கிற எவனும் தன் இருதயத்தில் அவளோடே விபசாரஞ்செய்தாயிற்று.
29 உன் வலது கண் உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைப் பிடுங்கி எறிந்து போடு; உன் சரீரம் முழுவதும் நரகத்தில் தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், உன் அவயவங்களில் ஒன்று கெட்டுப்போவது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும்.
30 உன் வலது கை உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைத் தறித்து எறிந்து போடு; உன் சரீரம் முழுவதும் நரகத்தில் தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், உன் அவயவங்களில் ஒன்று கெட்டுப்போவது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும்.
31 தன் மனைவியைத் தள்ளிவிடுகிற எவனும் தள்ளுதற்சீட்டை அவளுக்கு கொடுக்கக்கடவன் என்று உரைக்கப்பட்டது.
32 நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் வேசித்தன முகாந்தரத்தினாலொழிய தன் மனைவியைத் தள்ளிவிடுகிறவன், அவளை விபசாரஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணுகிறவனாயிருப்பான்; அப்படித் தள்ளிவிட்டவளை விவாகம் பண்ணுகிறவனும் விபசாரஞ்செய்கிறவனாயிருப்பான்.
27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

27 இயேசு அவ்விடம் விட்டுப் போகையில், இரண்டு குருடர் அவர் பின்னே சென்று: தாவீதின் குமாரனே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும் என்று கூப்பிட்டார்கள்.
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
28 அவர் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தபின்பு, அந்தக் குருடர் அவரிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள். இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: இதைச் செய்ய எனக்கு வல்லமை உண்டென்று விசுவாசிக்கிறீர்களா என்று கேட்டார்; அதற்கு அவர்கள்: ஆம் விசுவாசிக்கிறோம், ஆண்டவரே! என்றார்கள்.
And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 அப்பொழுது, அவர்களுடைய கண்களை அவர் தொட்டு: உங்கள் விசுவாசத்தின்படி உங்களுக்கு ஆகக்கடவது என்றார்.
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 உடனே அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டது. இதை ஒருவரும் அறியாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள் என்று இயேசு அவர்களுக்குக் கண்டிப்பாய்க் கட்டளையிட்டார்.
And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
31 அவர்களோ புறப்பட்டு, அத்தேசமெங்கும் அவருடைய கீர்த்தியைப் பிரசித்தம்பண்ணினார்கள்.
But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
32 அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டுப் போகையில், பிசாசுபிடித்த ஊமையான ஒரு மனுஷனை அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.
As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
33 பிசாசு துரத்தப்பட்டபின்பு ஊமையன் பேசினான். ஜனங்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: இஸ்ரவேலில் இப்படி ஒருக்காலும் காணப்படவில்லை என்றார்கள்.
And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
34 பரிசேயரோ: இவன் பிசாசுகளின் தலைவனாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துகிறான் என்றார்கள்.
But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
