அதற்கு இயேசு, “ஒரு திருமணத்தில் மணமகன் தம்முடன் இருக்கும்போது மணமகனின் நண்பர்கள் துயரப்படமாட்டார்கள். மணமகன் இன்னும் கூடவே இருக்கிற சந்தர்ப்பத்தில், அவர்களால் உபவாசம் இருக்க முடியாது.
