லூக்கா 5:17
பின்பு ஒருநாள் அவர் உபதேசித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறபோது, கலிலேயா யூதேயா நாடுகளிலுள்ள சகல கிராமங்களிலும், எருசலேம் நகரத்திலுமிருந்து வந்த பரிசேயரும் நியாயசாஸ்திரிகளும் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது பிணியாளிகளைக் குணமாக்கத்தக்கதாகக் கர்த்தருடைய வல்லமை விளங்கிற்று.

ஒருநாள் இயேசு மக்களுக்குப் போதித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார். பரிசேயர்களும் வேதபாரகரும் கூட அங்கே உட்கார்ந்துகொண்டிருந்தனர். கலிலேயா, யூதேயா, எருசலேம் ஆகிய நகரங்களில் இருந்து அவர்கள் வந்திருந்தனர். தேவன் குணமாக்கும் வல்லமையை இயேசுவுக்குக் கொடுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.

ஒரு நாள் இயேசு கற்பித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது. கலிலேய, யூதேயப் பகுதிகளிலுள்ள எல்லா ஊர்களிலிருந்தும் எருசலேமிலிருந்தும் வந்திருந்த பரிசேயரும் திருச்சட்ட ஆசிரியர்களும் அமர்ந்திருந்தார்கள். பிணி தீர்ப்பதற்கான ஆண்டவரின் வல்லமையை அவர் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
