லூக்கா 14:31
அன்றியும் ஒரு ராஜா மற்றொரு ராஜாவோடே யுத்தஞ்செய்யப் போகிறபோது, தன்மேல் இருபதினாயிரம் சேவகரோடே வருகிற அவனைத் தான் பதினாயிரம் சேவகரைக்கொண்டு எதிர்க்கக் கூடுமோ கூடாதோ என்று முன்பு உட்கார்ந்து ஆலோசனைபண்ணாமலிருப்பானோ?

அன்றியும் ஒரு ராஜா மற்றொரு ராஜாவோடு போர்செய்யப்போகிறபோது, தன்மேல் இருபதாயிரம் போர்வீரர்களோடு வருகிற அவனைத் தான் பத்தாயிரம் போர்வீரர்களைக்கொண்டு எதிர்க்கக்கூடுமோ கூடாதோ என்று முன்னமே உட்கார்ந்து ஆலோசனை செய்யாமலிருப்பானோ?

“ஓர் அரசன் மற்றோர் அரசனுக்கு எதிராகப் போரிடச் சென்றால், முதலில் அமர்ந்து திட்டமிடுவான். அரசனிடம் பத்தாயிரம் வீரர்கள் மட்டுமே இருந்தால் இருபதாயிரம் வீரர்கள் கொண்ட மற்ற அரசனைத் தோற்கடிக்க முடியுமா எனப் பார்ப்பான்.
