எண்ணாகமம் 14:9
கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகமாத்திரம் கலகம்பபண்ணாதிருங்கள்; அந்த தேசத்தின் ஜனங்களுக்கு நீங்கள் பயப்படவேண்டியதில்லை; அவர்கள் நமக்கு இரையாவார்கள்; அவர்களைக் காத்த நிழல் அவர்களை விட்டு விலகிப்போயிற்று; கர்த்தர் நம்மோடே இருக்கிறார்; அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டியதில்லை என்றார்கள்.

யோசுவா 6:7
ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: பட்டணத்தைச் சுற்றி நடந்துபோங்கள்; யுத்தசன்னத்தரானவர்கள் கர்த்தரின் பெட்டிக்குமுன் நடக்கக்கடவர்கள் என்றான்.

யோசுவா 6:14
இரண்டாம் நாளிலும் பட்டணத்தை ஒருதரம் சுற்றிவந்து, பாளயத்துக்குத் திரும்பினார்கள்; இந்தப்படி ஆறுநாளும் செய்தார்கள்.

எப்படியெனில், தேவஞானத்துக்கேற்றபடி உலகமானது சுயஞானத்தினாலே தேவனை அறியாதிருக்கையில், பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றுகிற பிரசங்கத்தினாலே விசுவாசிகளை இரட்சிக்க தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாயிற்று.
