தானியேல் 11:4
அவன் எழும்பினபின்பு அவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உடைந்துபோய், வானத்தின் நாலு திசைகளிலும் பகுக்கப்படும்; ஆனாலும் அது அவனுடைய சந்ததியாருக்கு அல்ல, அவன் செய்த ஆளுகையின்படியும் அல்ல; அவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் பிடுங்கப்பட்டு, அவனுடையவர்களல்லாத வேறேபேர்களிடமாய்த் தாண்டிப்போம்.

பொட்டுப்பூச்சி அவர்களை ஆடையைப்போல் அரித்து, புழு அவர்களை ஆட்டுரோமத்தைப்போல் தின்னும்; என்னுடைய நீதியோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைக்கும், என் இரட்சிப்பு தலைமுறை தலைமுறைதோறும் இருக்கும்.

ஏனென்றால், அவர்கள் பழைய ஆடைகளைப் போன்றவர்கள். அவற்றைப் பொட்டுப்பூச்சிகள் உண்ணும் அவர்கள் மரக் கட்டையைப்போலாவார்கள். கரையான் அவற்றை உண்ணும். ஆனால், எனது நன்மை என்றென்றும் தொடரும். எனது இரட்சிப்பு என்றென்றும் தொடரும்!”
