ஆனபடியினால் நீங்கள் ஆலோசனை சங்கத்தாரோடே கூடப்போய், அவனுடைய காரியத்தை அதிக திட்டமாய் விசாரிக்க மனதுள்ளவர்கள்போலச் சேனாபதிக்குக் காண்பித்து, அவர் நாளைக்கு அவனை உங்களிடத்தில் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுவரும்படி அவரிடத்தில் கேட்பீர்களாக. அவன் கிட்டவருகிறதற்குள்ளே நாங்கள் அவனைக் கொலைசெய்ய ஆயத்தமாயிருப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

ஆகவே, நீங்கள் ஆலோசனைச் சங்கத்தினரோடு கூடப்போய், அவனுடைய காரியத்தை மிக சரியாக விசாரிக்க விருப்பமுள்ளவர்கள்போல ரோம அதிபதிக்குக் காண்பித்து, அவர் நாளைக்கு அவனை உங்களிடம் அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவரும்படி அவரிடத்தில் கேட்பீர்களாக. அவன் அருகில் வருகிறதற்குள்ளே நாங்கள் அவனைக் கொலைசெய்ய ஆயத்தமாக இருப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

எனவே நாங்கள் செய்ய விரும்புவது இதுவே, நீங்களும் யூதக் குழுவைச் சேர்ந்த எல்லாத் தலைவர்களும் போர் அதிகாரிக்கு ஒரு செய்தியை அனுப்புங்கள். பவுலை உங்களிடம் அனுப்புமாறு அவ்வதிகாரிக்குக் கூறுங்கள். பவுலிடம் இன்னும் அதிகமான கேள்விகள் கேட்க விரும்புவதாக அவ்வதிகாரிக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள். அவன் இங்கு வரும் வழியில் பவுலைக் கொல்வதற்காக நாங்கள் காத்துக்கொண்டிருப்போம்” என்றனர்.
