அவர்கள் என்னைவிட்டு, தங்கள் கைகளின் கிரியைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் எனக்குக் கோபம் உண்டாக்க வேறே தேவர்களுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டினபடியினால், என் உக்கிரம் அவிந்துபோகாதபடி இந்த ஸ்தலத்தின்மேல் இறங்குமென்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார்.

அவர்கள் என்னைவிட்டு, தங்கள் கைகளின் செயல்கள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் எனக்குக் கோபம் உண்டாக்க வேறே தெய்வங்களுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டினதால், என் கடுங்கோபம் தணிந்து போகாமலிருக்க இந்த இடத்தின்மேல் இறங்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார்.

ஜனங்கள் என்னைவிட்டு விலகி அந்நிய தெய்வங்களுக்கு நறுமணப் பொருட்களை எரிக்க போய்விட்ட காரணத்தால் நான் இவற்றைச் செய்வேன். தம்முடைய தீயச்செயல்களால் அவர்கள் எனக்கு மிகுதியான கோபத்தை மூட்டிவிட்டார்கள். எனவே நான் இந்த இடத்தில் எனது கோபத்தைக் கொட்டுவேன். நெருப்பைப்போன்று கோபம் அவியாது.’
