எரேமியா 25:38
அவர் பதிவிருந்து புறப்படும் சிங்கத்தைப்போலிருப்பார்; ஒடுக்குகிறவனுடைய உக்கிரத்தினாலும், அவனுடைய உக்கிரகோபத்தினாலும் அவர்கள் தேசம் பாழாயிற்றென்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

அவர் பதுங்கியிருந்து புறப்படும் சிங்கத்தைப் போலிருப்பார்; ஒடுக்குகிறவனுடைய கோபத்தினாலும், அவனுடைய கடுங்கோபத்தினாலும் அவர்கள் தேசம் பாழானது என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

Tamil Easy Reading Version
கர்த்தர், தன் குகையை விட்டு வெளியே வரும் ஆபத்தான சிங்கத்தைப்போன்று இருக்கிறார். கர்த்தர் கோபமாக இருக்கிறார்! அந்த கோபம் அந்த ஜனங்களைப் பாதிக்கும். அவர்களின் நாடு காலியான வனாந்தரம்போன்று ஆகும்.

தன் குகையில் இருந்து வெளியேறும் சிங்கத்தைப் போல் அவர் வெளியேறி விட்டார். கொடியோனின் வாளாலும் ஆண்டவரின் கோபக்கனலாலும் அவர்கள் நாடு பாழடைந்து போயிற்று.

as the lion: כַּכְּפִ֖יר kĕpîr keh-FEER
his covert, סֻכּ֑וֹ sōk soke
for כִּֽי kî kee
is הָיְתָ֤ה hāyâ ha-YA
their land אַרְצָם֙ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
desolate לְשַׁמָּ֔ה šammâ sha-MA
because מִפְּנֵי֙ pānîm pa-NEEM
of the fierceness חֲר֣וֹן ḥārôn ha-RONE
of the oppressor, הַיּוֹנָ֔ה yānâ ya-NA
