Psalm 130
1 ਮੰਦਰ ਜਾਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਡੂੰਘੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
2 ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਸੁਣੋ। ਮੇਰੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਸੁਣੋ।
3 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਨਾਹਾ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੰਦੇ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਣਾ ਸੀ।
4 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਬਖਸ਼ ਦਿਉ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
5 ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਖੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ।
6 ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੌਕੀਦਾਰਾ ਵਰਗਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੀ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
7 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ। ਸੱਚਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
8 ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
1 A Song of degrees.
2 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
3 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
4 If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
5 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
6 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
7 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
8 Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
9 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
