Psalm 122
1 ਮੰਦਰ ਜਾਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਾਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਉ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੀਏ।”
2 ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਾਂ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਦਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਹੋਏ।
3 ਇਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਹੈ! ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
4 ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇੱਥੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਉਹੀ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਨ।
5 ਉੱਥੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਖਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
6 ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਲਈ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇੱਥੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
7 ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।”
8 ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
9 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
1 A Song of degrees of David.
2 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
3 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
4 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
5 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
6 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
7 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
8 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
9 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
10 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.
