Psalm 120 in Punjabi

1 ਮੰਦਰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਿਆ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਮੈਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ!

2 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਚਾਉ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੂੜ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

3 ਝੂਠਿਉ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?

4 ਸਜ਼ਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਤੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਮ ਕੋਲੇ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ।

5 ਕਿੰਨਾ ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਮਸ਼ਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕੇਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ।

6 ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

7 ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅਮਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਯੁੱਧ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

2 In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.

3 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

4 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

5 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

6 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

7 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

8 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
