ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੇਲਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।”

“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਸੋਂ ਪਸਾਹ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨਾਂ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਸਲੀਬ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”

ਯਹੂਦਾ ਦਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਇਸੱਕਰਿਯੋਤੀ ਸੀ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਕੌਣ ਬਣੇਗਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਜਣਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਬਰਾਨੀਆਂ 4:13
ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਢੰਗ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।

ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
