ਤਦ ਯੇਹੂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਪਾਸਕ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਏ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸਦਾ ਉਪਾਸਕ ਗੈਰਹਾਜ਼ਿਰ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਪਾਸਕ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਏ। ਤੇ ਬਆਲ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਖਚਾ-ਖਚ ਭੀੜ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ।

ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੀੜ ਜੁੜੀ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸਨ। ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 3,000 ਆਦਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਹੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਸੂਨ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਤਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਟੁਕੜੇ-ਟੁਕੜੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਮੱਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਤਦ ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ, ਆਦਮੀ ਚੁਣੇ।
ਯਵਾਐਲ 3:2
ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਾਰ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਰੂ-ਖੇਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਭਾਵ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਖੈਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ’ਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੀਓ ਕੌਮੋ, ਜਲਦੀ ਕਰੋ। ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਬਾਵੇਂ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਵੋ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ! ਆਪਣੇ ਸੂਰਬੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ।
