Nahum 2:8
ਨੀਨਵਾਹ ਉਹ ਕੁੰਡ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਗੁਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਚੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਠਹਿਰੋ! ਨੱਸਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰੋ!” ਪਰ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।

| stand, | עִמְד֥וּ | ʿimdû | eem-DOO |
| none but cry; they shall | עֲמֹ֖דוּ | ʿămōdû | uh-MOH-doo |
| shall look back. | וְאֵ֥ין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
