ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, “ਅੱਬਾ, ਹੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਇਹ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਲੈ ਲਵੋ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਵੇ।”
