Luke 5:1
ਪਤਰਸ, ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਗਨੇਸਰਤ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਕੰਢੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਭੀੜ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਨਣ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।

Joshua 12:3

Numbers 34:11

ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਨਾ ਬਣੋ ਇਸੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਕਈ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਮੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਪਟ ਹੈ।
Luke 8:45
ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਹੈ?” ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੋਹਿਆ। ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।”

ਯਿਸੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਝੀਲ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਗੰਨੇਸਰਤ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਜੈਰੁਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਗਿਆ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੀ ਬੇੜੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ। ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਕਿਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੀੜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਨਾ ਲਵੇ।
Matthew 11:12
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੀਕ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਲ ਦਾ ਉਪਯੋਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Deuteronomy 3:17
ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਹੈ। ਗਲੀਲੀ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਇਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਡੈਡ ਸੀ (ਖਾਰਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ) ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਿਸਗਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਹਨ।
