Leviticus 19:23
“ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਰੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸਦੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਜਿਤ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

| count shall ye then | וַֽעֲרַלְתֶּ֥ם | waʿăraltem | va-uh-rahl-TEM |
| עָרְלָת֖וֹ | ʿorlātô | ore-la-TOH | |
| the fruit | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| uncircumcised: as thereof | פִּרְי֑וֹ | piryô | peer-YOH |
| three | שָׁלֹ֣שׁ | šālōš | sha-LOHSH |
| years | שָׁנִ֗ים | šānîm | sha-NEEM |
