Job 39:24
ਘੋੜਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਤੇਜਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਭੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਘੋੜਾ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

Amos 3:6
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇਵੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਸਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾ ਘਟ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Habakkuk 1:8
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਚੀਤਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੇਜ ਦੌੜਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਭੇੜੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹਬਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੁੜ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਬੜੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਤੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਉਕਾਬ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਣਗੇ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਡਾਰੀ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਫ਼ੜਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਚੇਲੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਵੇਖਕੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੈ?”
