Jeremiah 48:36
“ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਛੇੜਦੀ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੋਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਕੀਰ-ਹਰਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੌਲਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਖੋਹ ਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

Isaiah 63:15
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ, ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ। ਦੇਖੋ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਕਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਨੇ! ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ। ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਗੂਹੜਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਹੈ? ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਧੁਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ? ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਦਇਆ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਹੈ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਭਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਛੁਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ?
