ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ, ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਨਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੋ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ, ਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਫ਼ੈਲਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਸਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਕੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਮਾੜਾ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਮੈਂ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੀਆਂ।

Esther 9:1
ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ (ਅਦਾਰ) ਦੇ ਤੇਰ੍ਹਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਬਦਲ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਹੁਣ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਫਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਤਕੜੇ ਸਨ।
Exodus 18:11
ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਦੇਖੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ।”
