Deuteronomy 13:16
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਲਈ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਖੰਡਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।

| all and | הָעִ֤יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| the spoil | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| thereof every whit, | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| Lord the for | שְׁלָלָהּ֙ | šĕlālāh | sheh-la-LA |
| thy God: | כָּלִ֔יל | kālîl | ka-LEEL |
