ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।)
