Daniel 9:24
“ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਲਈ ਸੱਤਰ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸੱਤਰ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਰਣਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੈ: ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਤੇ ਰੋਕ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਪਾਪ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀਅਤਾ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਲਾਉਣਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ।
