Amos 9:8
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਸ ਪਾਪੀ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

| it from off | אֹתָ֔הּ | ʾōtāh | oh-TA |
| face the | מֵעַ֖ל | mēʿal | may-AL |
| of the earth; | פְּנֵ֣י | pĕnê | peh-NAY |
| saving | הָאֲדָמָ֑ה | hāʾădāmâ | ha-uh-da-MA |
