Amos 1:13
ਅਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਉਂ ਫ਼ੁਰਮਾਇਆ: “ਮੈਂ ਅਮੋਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਦੰਡ ਦਾ ਭਾਗੀ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਹਬਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ।
