Acts 17:15
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਿਹਚਾਵਾਨ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨਾਲ ਗਏ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਥੇਨੈ ਤੱਕ ਦੂਰ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਬਰਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀਲਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਏ, “ਜਿੰਨੀ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੋ ਸੱਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਆਓ।”

ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸੱਕੇ, ਪਰ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਾਂ ਇੰਤਜਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜੀਏ ਤੇ ਅਥੇਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਰਹੀਏ। ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ ਸਾਡਾ ਭਰਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਬਾਰੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਫ਼ੈਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ।
Acts 15:3
ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਲਈ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੈਨੀਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੈਨੀਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀ ਲੋਕ ਸੱਚੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸੁਣਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਏ।
Acts 17:16
ਪੌਲੁਸ ਅਥੇਨੈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਥੇਨੈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਤਹਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੇਖਕੇ ਬੜਾ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਾਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
