Proverbs 1:25
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਅਣਗੌਲਿਆਂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਬੀ ਦਾ ਮਖੌਲ ਉਡਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਜਾਂ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਦ ਤੀਕ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਦ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਨਾ ਵੱਧ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਉਪਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਰੋਧ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਕੋਈ ਰੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਪਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ।
Psalm 107:11
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜੇ ਸਨ। ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਨੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸੁਧਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਝਿੜਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰੇ ਬੇਵਕੂਫ਼ ਹੈ।
